Lovely home that was spacious and relaxing. Proximity to town and restaurants perfect. Gorgeous place to enjoy some rest and stunning scenery. Traffic a little bit of a challenge at peak fall foliage time.

Great location in the village but also very peaceful along the creek with the sound of the water over the rocks. The place was clean and well stocked. Would stay again.

We stayed two nights at the property and it was perfect for our family of four. The location is great and within easy walking distance of many restaurants, shops and groceries. George was a great host and made the check-in and check out processes very easy. He was also easy to work with and responsive to any questions. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to stay in Stowe.

This was perfect for our team's planning retreat. Clean, spacious, well supplied. Great location, easy walk to the village and trails — and amazingly quiet considering the proximity to the main road. Prompt and friendly communication. Would definitely book again.

The host was an excellent communicator. We went to celebrate my sister and I birthday and we had our 90 year old Dad with us. We all loved the property and the convenience of the location to things to do was amazing. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the little river going by. Thank you for being part of such a memorable trip!

Exactly as advertised. The decks looking over the river are great. Being able to just park the car for the week and walk everywhere makes it that more enjoyable. Hosts are very responsive. Can’t wait to come back.

The place is very clean to start and well furnished. The beds are comfortable with duvet style bedding. The location can’t be better with a well stocked and priced grocery store right next door. It’s a short walk to all of the shops and skiing. Well done.

Everything was as advertised. Very clean. The kitchen is well stocked with new pots and pans, spices, and coffee. Plenty of quality towels. Being so close to the local market is a bonus. It’s just across the parking lot. Stowe is a quick 10 minute drive or you can take the shuttle. Would definitely stay here if retuning to the area.

What a wonderful stay! An absolutely immaculate, comfortable, peaceful, well-located home. We did not want to leave! We have been to Stowe many times, and this property is by far the best. We feel fortunate it was available to us.Even better than the property - which is super tough to beat - are the owners! George is just such a nice, nice person to work! I will miss our communications. Oh, and the Spring skiing was awesome! Thank you George and Anne, we will be back

A spacious and beautiful unit right on the little river, running through town, and right in the central part of town, close to a food market and all of the other wonders of Stowe. My wife and I have stayed in many short-term rental units throughout the world, and this was the best appointed of all of them. The kitchen had all the utensils and cooking artifacts. One needs. The owners have gone out of their way to supply two ways of making coffee, with many Keurig pods and teas. Beautiful granite counters in the kitchen, three different size, cutting boards, a knife set, and a dishwasher, microwave, and toaster oven, along with the regular stove, top and large oven. I spend a substantial time in my kitchen at home, and I can’t imagine what else the owners could provide. The bedrooms were very nice and spacious, each with its own bathroom. The living room had a deck overlooking the river, and had some games, reading material about the area, a huge TV where we watched the World Cup and Wimbledon matches. It was like being home. Everything was provided with a serious amount of thoughtfulness. Our host were available all the time. And, they even left us a bottle of sparkling wine to top it off. Just a joy to have stayed here.

Fantastic location near the heart/downtown of Stowe. Unit was well maintained and equipped. Back deck was very peaceful by the river. Located less than a quarter mile from the local grocery store which is very convenient. Would love to stay here again during our next visit to Stowe.
