"Upon arriving at the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent condition of our room. It was spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. After exploring the property and heading to the beach, we returned to find our bed meticulously arranged in a beautiful design, ready for us to get ready for bed. "The view was nice, room looked nice and clean however, there wasn’t enough counter space. Also, the A/C didn’t put out enough air and didn’t cool the room very well. The one thing that we didn’t appreciate was when there was no transparency when we ordered drinks on the beach in regards to being upfront about the expensive service charge. An average 12 ounce beer and a 12 ounce pina colada…$34 plus a tip, $40 total. Probably won’t stay at this place again."

"I really liked the old charm. Ate dinner there the first night and the food was absolutely delicious. Our room was cleaned every day and the staff was so delicious. It’s also in a great location, accessible to walk to several restaurants and to the fort. Took an Uber to their sister hotel to go to the beach, which gave us free chairs, towels, and umbrella. Can’t beat that. I would definitely go back to this hotel again."

"Villa Herencia har en fantastisk atmosfære. Det er som at træde ind i et privat hjem og personalet er meget imødekommende og hjælpsomme. Vi havde et super dejligt og rent værelse med direkte adgang til tagterrassen og godt vi kan lide katte. Der var besøg af gadekatte fra det nærliggende torv og det kunne man lugte. Møbler og andet inventar på terrassen er meget slidt og nusset. Vi vil dog uden tvivl vælge hotellet, når vi næste gang kommer til San Juan. Det ligger meget centralt i den gamle...
