"The bedding and towels were lovely and clean, couldn't fault. The shower tray left a lot to be desired, along with the shower mat and windowsill. There was no way of opening/closing the windows as they were too high. The same with the curtains. A long bamboo rod attached to the top could help with opening/closing? Staff? Hardley saw a soul in the 4 days I was there. The breakfast was sufficient for what I needed."

There was a very small space between the wall and the bed and care was needed not to nudge the kettle on the way past. No space for furniture although a hanging rail and a few shelves were behind a curtain. There was a stool. To exit the property there was a steep staircase and a fire door that shut behind you. "Basically I booked this for its location and price. Was very grateful to find we had been upgraded to a family room in the basement. Sadly though other residents weren’t as thoughtful and kept us awake till nearly 3 in the morning, slamming doors and talking loudly outside our window and in hallway. Also room was stiflingly hot. There was a fan but it didn’t reduce heat. Can’t fault how polite and helpful staff were with booking."
