"A very quaint and beautiful space! I imagined it to be like a little cottage in Italy; down the street from the vineyard. New, quality, well decorated place. The flower gardens were so beautiful. It was like a little gem in the middle of rolling, green hills. Loved every bit of this charming space!"

"My mom and I had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin along the Mississippi river. The outdoor area was a peaceful getaway after thrifting along the 100-mile garage sale. We didn't use the outdoor fire, but loved both swings. Communication with Ann was excellent before and during our stay."

"We had a very nice time at the house, and the house are great. I have a few issue though. We couldn’t at all get in contact with the contact person - and that was quite frustration, as we had some questions during our stay. Another thing was that all plates and ‘glasses’ were in plastic. We are all adults, and making a nice dinner with a nice glass of wine - eating and drinking from plastic, well would have been nice with at least a glass not in plastic. "Everything was what we expected. The statements about the driveway are accurate. The only cleanliness issue was the coffee maker had grounds left from previous user. Good selection of movies after a long day fishing. Kitchen had all that was necessary to cook and serve for 6 people dish soap was limited but dishwasher worked well. Gas grill worked well and had plenty of propane for grilling. Overall birthday weekend was a success. Thank you!"

"Such a fun place to stay! Prospect place is stocked with anything you could need and more. Everything as described by owner. Check in and out was a breeze. Walking distance to bars and restaurants was perfect for nights out. We had a great weekend celebrating friendship and life in a truly unique space."

"The cottage was very cute and well stocked with pots and pans and spices if you want to cook. The snacks and water were very much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. "My Mom, sisters, and I wanted to get away, relax, be by the water, and immerse ourselves in one of my favorite parts of Wisconsin. Being able to do all of this in the gorgeous Julian House was a privilege. The communication and response to any issues was excellent and we will definitely be back!!"

"Took day trips to tour colleges with our oldest son, and this location worked great. Sparkling clean. Very quiet. What a view! We didn’t turn the TV on the whole time we were there because we just hung by the fire and enjoyed the view. Proximity to Red Wing, very convenient!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here! We went out on the canoe in the morning and it was so quiet and peaceful out there. The lake did get busier later in the afternoon with jet skiers and water skiers, people fishing etc. The ducks and chickens on the property were a nice surprise:) My son loved that.
