"Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. "The place is cosy and the bed was comfy, however there were no sockets next to the bed and worse, there was no water pressure in the shower at all. The staff promised to remedy it, but ultimately didn't do anything about it. Maybe a bad room, maybe a bad inn."
