Upon arrival was a friendly welcome and tour of the property which was modernly styled, very spacious, and immaculate. The large kitchen has no shortage of storage, fridge/freezer space, very large oven, hobs, pans, crockery, utensils etc. and spacious dining area for 8, couldn't ask for more!!! Add to that an ideal location which is right next to the ferry port (first house on the left when leaving the ferry...

"Lovely B&B. Friendly check-in. Clean, comfortable and spacious room with a lovely ensuite shower room.
Bed was very comfortable. Good location with car park at rear. Lovely breakfast with lots of choices. Would stay again."

"Very central hotel overlooking the harbour a close walk to the main street and all the sights in town. The restaurant & bar area were great and rooms were quite comfortable. Staff were very friendly :) The only downside was the unusually hot summer weather made the rooms quite hot and stuffy."

"The Ferry Inn is a combination hotel/pub with breakfast included on our booking. We ate dinner both nights in the pub restaurant. The food was good & they had several choices for each course. The location was excellent for the Scrabaster/Stromness ferry & it was easy to navigate to Kirkwall & all the sights."

Overall very comfortable bed, clean and well presented. I would suggest blackout curtains might work better.
Food and was lovely, restaurant gets busy so reservation was required, but would recommend it. Staff were nice and attentive. "

The rooms are clean with lovely bedding and fantastic views of the beautiful island.. Can't wait to go back.. "
