Rocky Creek Waterfront

While only a few minutes to Restaurants, Marinas the drive to Rocky Creek Getaway gives you a secluded place where your whole family can relax and enjoy the coastal life, count the stars at night and may even hear the song of the whippoorwill. This stilted home on the banks of the Rocky Creek, includes a bedroom with a king bed and one bedroom with a queen bed. The living room area has two large sofas where you can enjoy the flat screen TV over the fireplace. The kitchen and dining area has seating for four while the back screened porch allows for plenty of room to sit, eat and socialize and enjoy watching the creek rise and fall with the tides. On the open deck there is a gas grill and a hammock to enjoy the gulf breezes. The large yard has a firepit and a private dock to access the Gulf of Mexico in approximately 5 minutes. Bring your flats boats, pontoon, or jon boat, kayak, paddle board and access all the best fishing, scalloping and sightseeing that the Steinhatchee area has to offer. The driveway has room for all your vehicles, boat and recreational trailers. There is also a RV hook-up that can be added for an extra price so you can easily increase the size of the group. The property's water source is Florida coastal well water so you may would like to bring your own drinking water. Rocky Creek is a tidal creek and at low tide you have approx. 18" to 24" of water. We look forward to hosting you and your family at Rocky Creek Getaway where you can relax and and enjoy the coastal atmosphere and at night you can count the stars and hear the mullet fish jump in the creek.

Scalloping fun!

We had wonderful time with family and friends. The location to the boat ramp and scalloping grounds could not be better. The children also had fun checking the crab traps on the dock. It was the perfect getaway!

Super Relaxing

The whole feel of the house was relaxing & cozy. Really enjoyed our stay. My grandson loved the dock. My only negative would be about towels & wash cloths. Wish there had been more.

Perfect fishing getaway

This place was just what we needed. Right on the rocky creek and quick access to other fishing spots. Only a couple of things would have made this a complete 5 star. Better outdoor light to improve safety and a small washer dryer would be nice.

Amazing & Peaceful

The house is very clean, cute, and charming. It is very well stocked with enough dishes, pots and pans to cook whatever type of meal you are wanting. All you need are your clothes, food, personal toiletries and the boat. The property is very secluded and private in a quiet community, which is exactly what we were looking for.

Creekside Beauty

The house is great. The location is secluded and yet still a short distance from town. The beds are comfy. Although it did not affect cleanliness and we didn't mind it a bit, the water was stained and there was a hint of salt in it. We used bottled water for drinking and coffee.

the house was perfect for our needs. The ad said the property had a hot tub, it does not. The arrow pointing to the driveway to the house said #315, and that is not the address. So we turned around the first time and went back to the main road, and followed gps again. This time we continued down the driveway, and it was the correct house. The picture of the house shows all the stairs,, but the written description should note that older folks might have trouble carrying luggage up. We had a lovely stay!

Secluded

The location is secluded so if peace and quiet is what you’re looking for, this is the place. Super clean, nicely decorated. Although there is a dock, it is in need of repair. Seemed a little dicey walking to the end which makes it a challenge to use the kayaks provided. Even launching from the property isn’t possible because of the grass. The yard needs attention but again, this is country and the area has been hit by hurricanes so that may be why. Picnic table needs to be replaced as it’s unusable. The Vrbo listing also needs editing as there was no hot tub. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. House’s proximity to the Rocky Creek boat ramp can’t be beat. Best feature of the house was the screened in porch. Remember to bring the bug spray.

Quite n Restful

My wife needed a place that was secluded and comfortable. This 14 feet above the ground cabin was perfect. Every window we could see tree tops making us feel like we were in a tree house! Only minutes away from the Gulf.

This property was very nice, clean, and quiet, the Host was very responsive and great to work with.. My only suggestion would be more lighting outside, and the dock could use some TLC. We loved the area and would stay again..

Fantastic getaway

Had a great time at the property. We were able to cut off from the hustle and bustle of work and just relax. Great getaway if you want to be outside and enjoy being with others while making new memories!

Totally unplugged

If you want to get away from the hustle bustle from internet and cell service and just relax and enjoy nature this is the perfect getaway. Rock creek boat ramp has beautiful scenery and not too far. The kayaks were a huge plus. The back porch atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. I would recommend this property.
