"I had a wonderful stay at Pen-y-bryn Lodge.
The property is a beautiful historic building with a peaceful atmosphere, and the room was spacious, spotless, and full of character. The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel warm and personal. Overall, a fantastic experience — I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone visiting Oamaru."

"The Manager was very obliging. I have allergy problems, he aired our pre booked room and ensured there was NO artificial sprays applied to the room.
Parking was great.
Presentation excellent. A note here: The boundary fence by the laundry is pretty dilapidated. The area surrounding the washing line is in need of love and attention, i.e. weeding etc., as does the back boundary. Other than that a very welcoming place. Not noisy even though the Motel is located on the main road. Thank you...
