  • Located one block from the base of the Steamboat Ski Area, this charming home is both private and cozy, ideal for quiet family vacations and ski weekends with friends. Walk to the lifts and bask in the attention and friendly service you deserve!

    Warm and inviting, this ground-floor condo features a gas fireplace in the living area and exposed wooden beams supporting the wood-paneled ceiling. Prepare cost-saving meals in the well-equipped kitchen then gather in the dining area with seating for six. The furnished patio is accessible from both the living room and primary bedroom, and for indoor entertainment, you'll find three TVs.

    The main bedroom features an attached bathroom. There is a queen bed as well as a twin bed in the second bedroom, plus an additional full bathroom. The living room also has a sofa bed, should you need additional sleeping space. As of November 2024, this unit as all new mattresses.

    A spectacular year-round resort, The Lodge at Steamboat not only boasts an exceptional location one block from the lifts, but it also offers its guests premium amenities that include an on-site front desk and clubhouse, four outdoor hot tubs, an indoor hot tub, free parking, free WiFi, and coin-operated laundry machines. (There is not an in-unit washer/dryer.) There is a free ski season shuttle service that will whisk you away to the mountain or around beautiful Steamboat Springs.

    When it's time to dine out, you're within walking distance of popular local restaurants and coffee shops. Experience the relaxing and therapeutic qualities of some of the area's natural hot springs. Take a trip back in time at the fun and fascinating Tread of Pioneers Museum, 3.5 miles north. And for summertime fun, visit the Amaze'n Steamboat Family Fun Park, roughly two miles west.     Winter in Steamboat Springs is a magical experience the whole family will love! Be sure to check out all the fantastic winter slopes of Steamboat Ski Resort such as Kuus' Cruise and Three O'Clock for the group experts, Rainbow and Moonlight for the advanced skiers, and Why Not and Spur Run for the beginners. Afterward, grab an après-ski meal at one of the amazing mountaintop restaurants. The kids will love a trip to Howelsen Ice Arena, just three and a half miles north, where you can enjoy a pleasant open-skate on the ice and even goof off in inflated bumper cars.

    You'll find plenty of hot weather activities all over the place! Take the kids out to explore the majestic outdoor beauty of Steamboat Springs with hikes on Thunderhead Hiking Trail. The paved Yampa River Core Trail winds through town and even passes by the botanic gardens, so you can take the little ones out for a good walk while still being close to home! You'll also be close to the fantastic greens of Rollingstone Ranch Golf Course, plus lots of other summertime activities like alpine slides, mountain biking, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding!

Week at the Lodge

We have stayed at the Lodge for a number of years and have always had a good experience. We like that there is a front desk that is staffed and responsive to our needs. Other condos we have stayed in the area do not have a front desk with staff and it is next to impossible to get any help. The Lodge is clean, comfortable and close to the ski mountain with a great shuttle.

Great place in a great location

Updated, quiet, clean, tastefully decorated, with quality furnishings. At the far end of the A building, bottom floor(no stairs), away from come and go traffic and closest to the path to the 'ski' mountain (although we stayed in summer). No AC however we were able to manage the heat with Windows/blinds/fans (provided) - AND for perspective we were there for the heat wave of summer (90 deg days). 4 stars due to minor 'visibility' concern. Although secluded a bit, a 'path' runs behind unit ( about 25-30 ft from living room windows) and in order to get dressed in the master bedroom we felt like we needed to lower the blinds each time for privacy. Aside that, overall great unit and would rent again.

I’ve stayed in several Vacasa homes and they hold a strict check in 4pm check out 10am policy so don’t try to deviate as this property is no exception. The home was kept clean, we only had one issue which was when we turned on the oven and it smelled as if some chemicals were burning. Probably was some cleaner that wasn’t wiped off. They were responsive and came out to fix the issue. The master bed had a lump in the middle of the mattress and the beds are a little soft overall. The furniture is somewhat dated and bulky relative to the size of the apartment. It feels tight inside the apartment and that includes the bathrooms. I would probably stay here again because the price was reasonable for what you’re getting and the home was clean.

Great stay at Steamboat

My husband and I (plus another couple) had a great time at this condo. Kitchen is a nice size, beds were comfy, and the fireplace is awesome. It is extremely walkable to the ski resort. We were comparing it to parking at Keystone and then walking in, it was about that long (no need to take the bus!). It's the closest thing you will get to a ski in ski out without it *quite* being that. Check in was easy and the staff at the office was very nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, comfortable and convenient!

The condo was very clean and very convenient to the gondola, base area and restaurants - a short walk with skis. The kids loved the outdoor pool and hot tub and the reservation system worked well given COVID protocols. The blankets/comforters and pillows could stand to be upgraded but other than that small item, we absolutely loved it and would definitely book this or a Lodge at Steamboat condo again.

We really enjoyed the unit and the location and would stay there again on future trips. Was only a short walk to the lifts each morning and even a shorter walk back as one could ski down to within 100 yards. Unit was quiet and comfortable and management was accommodating to our check-in and check-out needs. Great selection for our family of 4.
