"We spent one night at the Blackjack Inn and everything was great! The room and bathroom were very clean. Free parking as listed. . The location was very convenient, walking distance to dining, shopping and other attractions. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating, allowing us to leave the car in the parking lot for few hours after checking out to explore the town for a little bit more. We are very happy we booked this place. "

"All rooms are ‘pets welcome’, even though website and hotels.com said otherwise - and we chose the hotel because it had rooms where quote: ‘pets are not permitted in these rooms’. For an allergic person that makes it a pretty terrible stay. The staff tried to find a room that was tolerable, but since all rooms have had pets in them, that wasn’t possible. And it was so noisy, my boyfriend had loop quiet earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones on, and he was still woken up all night by slamming...

"Overall experience was very good. Near lake tahoe I dont think there are very modern facilities in CA side. This is an old building but the rooms are well maintained. One small tight Elevator. Parking is tight for big cars if you want shaded garage spaces. but open parking is also available. Rooms are Big and spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. "

Met the directors wife checking in and she was super helpful getting us in a little early, offering helpful tips for getting around and even offered some local cookies - maybe the best I’ve had to boot. Our room was super clean and pretty new - looked recently remodeled. AC worked great, fridge and coffee makers stocked with coffee were perfect to start the day. Had a microwave and all the stuff you’d expect at any...

We tried to call someone 2 times -> $20 without even being connected.
When confronted with it, the staff simply said: we know it’s a steep price, but we can’t do anything about it."
