"Being a business traveller the hotel was great value for money. Wifi well working for several devices and included in my attractive room price. Room very nice and has all that is needed - I would tend to say "affordable luxury" for a busy business traveller. Staff really much more truly helpful than otherwise in many hotels in Manila. Taxis are difficult to get as in business district, but staff very helpful when I refused hotel's own very expensive car solution. No swimmingpool. Will stay there...

"Listen folks, do not waste your money here. They do not honor "pay now" bookings, even if you paid online, you will still be asked to pay in cash. They will fool you to get your refund the next day, but truth is, they will not process it until you're checked out. Plus couple of room observations, comfort room is dirty, lots of bed bugs and roaches, no garbage bags, booking says parking is free and yet, they are charging a fee, and staff are unapproachable. Such a very bad experience. Hotels.com...

"The security guard did not allow us to go inside because there is no unit number in our booking. We called the number in the booking receipt at least 10x but no answer. We sent a message but no reply as of now.

"I have read ads about Excelsior a while back but I felt it was too expensive considering its location. This time their price was reduced to a reasonable price so I booked. Other than the fact than parking is separated and there is no walkway to the hotel, all were excellent from well appointed rooms and beddings and very courteous staff."

"Very quiet hotel . Very high class . Not many guests . Set up very well for families in terms of kid activities . Cheap rates currently as not well established . Great gym ! Staff were nice . Very transparent payment system in terms of the deposit vs room service charges . I would not hesitate to return . From a scientific/academic point of view a good place to hold conferences etc "
