The delightful Sherborne abbey is just a very short walk from the inn and there are numerous restaurants nearby. "we had a great stay at the Red Lion. Amazing food. Very comfortable bed and good quality linens. But I think the staff was the key to all this success they were lovely and helpful. If only one thing I would improve is the water pressure in the bathroom. There isn't any :)"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our last minute stay here with our doggies. I cannot fault a thing, the apartment we stayed in was very generously sized and had everything we needed. All of the staff were welcoming and helpful. We stayed for dinner one evening and there was a wonderful atmosphere and our food was delicious, highly recommend the Milk Tart as a sweet treat to finish off the meal. This is a wonderful gem in a gorgeous setting, and we will definitely return."
