I had an absolutely awful experience at this resort. I’m an avid traveler, traveled from young and I have always traveled with my children from a young age and I have never experienced such poor service, safety and accountability concerns. To the point that I even had to call emergency services during my stay which is unimaginable.
I checked in on a Thursday and walked into a hot room, the AC wasn’t working but it being later in the evening and the front desks closing every day at 6pm, there was no one to call.The next morning I called to have it looked at and maintenance came and said they could not do anything they would have to call a technician, no one could give me an estimation of time of when the technician would come and no one offered any type of apology for our discomfort. I went to the beach for the entire day with my kids due to the issue hoping it would be fixed before we came back, when I called the front desk to get an update I was answered rudely with the receptionist saying, “ I walked though that unit myself before check in and the ac was fine!”, keep in mind the AC was on 59 degrees all night and it was actually cooler outside than inside. She went on to say she still doesn’t know when. Long story short, we were purposely locked out of our room by the tech on our return and I found out from security that the room doors did not have proper locks on it. Management Claudine and Carrie were rude and never apologized, never stay here for your own safety!
