One bedroom apartment with view of the ocean, 4 mins (driving) to Red Hook boat and car ferry and night life, close to Secret Habor ( 4 mins driving ) and Vessup Beach, on bus route and close to food shopping center. Lots of fine dinning opportunities available in the near by area. Parking is available at the unit. Battery backup when there is electrical power outages to the island.

Nice friendly area. The property has a lot to offer especially if it is your first time to the Virgin Islands. All new amenities in the unit. A warm welcome awaits you...

Host went up and beyond to make sure the place was not only very clean but had additional nice touches of hospitality added in. Location was 7min to Sapphire Beach and same to Red Hook. It’s in a quiet neighborhood so perfect if you want to get away from the crowds. We would stay there again for sure.

It’s a very nice place, staffed with anything you may think of. Host is just wonderful and helpful. I just don’t understand why Vrbo has to charge a security deposit for two and a half months before the start of the trip and two weeks after. It’s a good value otherwise, considering that Virgin Islands in general are so much more expensive since last time I visited in 2001😊, comparing even to NYC.

Great communication, very welcoming, allowed an hour early check in and a clean place close to Red Hook with a large, stocked kitchen and plenty of space for a couple. I chose to sleep on the sofa after the first night because the mattress was extremely hard on my (bad). Those who enjoy a very firm mattress will love the matter bed. The place could use some updating and brightening with the decor and furnishings. Paint, removing rusted fixtures, relaxing the showerhead and kitchen sink faucet could go a long way to sprucing the place up a bit, as it has a very 80s vibe to it. That said, we enjoyed our stay and felt safe coming and going day and night. The neighbor's dogs barking all night were annoying, but that's not the fault of the owner, just something to be aware of, if you are a light sleeper. The sample size toiletries, slippers and makeup washcloths were a great added touch. We ran into the owner, and she was very friendly/kind. We would rather give a 4.5 if possible, and we would choose to stay here again.

Best Vacation

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here for carnival. The place was beautiful just like the pictures shown and extremely clean! The host was very sweet and helpful and responds very quickly, I loved everything about my stay and I will most definitely be back.

Lovely well appointed property in a quiet location (you will need a car) as it's at least mile west of the location on the VRBO app.Diane was a wonderful host.Also a shame the neighbours trees are grown to obscure the sea view.

Quick Trip

Whenever I visit St. Thomas, I usually stay with family, but for this trip, I decided to get my own place—and it was a great idea! I found Diane’s place on Vrbo, and it was perfect. The location was excellent, the apartment was super cozy, and it was very convenient—just a short distance from Red Hook, where there are great restaurants and souvenir shops.

Great place to stay

This is a great place to stay. The unit is in great condition, well maintained and modern. I didn't even need the AC because as night the breeze flows through the open windows just enough to keep it relatively cool. The location was great for me - I didn't want a resort experience and wanted to live in a neighborhood for a week. Nothing better than waking up to the sounds of the island and sitting on the open air porch enjoying the morning coffee. Highly recommend for people that don't want the resort or packed in condo feel. After only a week, I felt like I had lived there for much longer - in a good way.

Great Stay

Great location and priced reasonably for the area. Clean and lots of 'extras' as we forgot some personal items. Seems like the island does not use addresses as not many roads are marked so couple of drivers had a challenge to find the place but we did finally spot the house number in the lawn and were able to find it. It will be easy the next time we come for sure -as we know exactly where it is located. We did not have a car but it was only a short walk to the closest beach and it was amazing!

Comfortable

We were very comfortable, especially enjoyed sitting on the screened-in porch. Beaches and restaurants were nearby. Appreciated the beach towels, snacks, water and extra hangers in the closet. Diane was welcoming and helpful.

Super cute place. Felt safe and great location. If there is any complaint at all it would be we are used to a King bed so this one was small. The water pressure wasn't great but otherwise loved the place

we began our trip on the "natural" end of St John's at an "eco-resort". One of those environmentally friendly shower with rain water, climb 30 flights of stairs to a treehouse kind of place. It was cool but after 3-4 days I'd had enough of the communing with nature. I needed creature comforts and wandered around to get a good internet signal and found this place on St Thomas. We booked it and then paid a local guy named Mango to drive us off the mountain and to the ferry. I rode in the back of his truck with the bags. Our host, Diane, reached out prior to our arrival ensuring we had proper directions. GPS and St Thomas don't exactly coincide as smoothly as you might hope but she was ready for such an eventuality. The place was clean, nicely appointed with comfortable furniture, updated appliances and plenty of towels, linens etc. As a host, she also goes the extra mile and provides coffee, a few snacks, bathroom accessories and makes herself available should you have any questions and I mean "any" questions. We were tired when we arrived and I half jokingly asked for a pizza delivery recommendation and she replied in minutes with the place to call and the info they would need to get the pizza to us. (Addresses in St Thomas don't exactly work the way you might think...they needed to be told "right at light past the food center then 5th house on the right etc"). All in all, Diane and her 1 bedroom place, made our stay in the USVI quite comfortable. We will return

Great location, great apartment

This apt was close to Compas Point Marina and Sunset grill. So it was perfect for us for the first couple of nights before picking up our boat. The walk to Sunset Grill was about a mile but pleasurable. Cabs are available if you can’t walk that far. Room was exactly as described.

have to drive to the beach

The apartment was very clean and welcoming. Our host was kind and welcoming. Provided a lot of excellent recommendation! We did have to drive to the closest beach, but it was small and private. We would recommend putting the TV in the living room instead of the bedroom. There was coffee and tea available with sweeteners and creamer!!! That was a nice touch as were the fresh flowers! That was a lovely surprise. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay.

Apartments very nice, respected from owners, just location like everywhere else in VI, uncovenient. Beaches are spread, so it’s like common problem here in VI. Otherwise, fine!
