Comfortable family stay

This was our second stay at Harbourside, we love the easy access to the waterpark and the beach. The unit was comfortable and the kids really enjoyed the foosball coffee table. The beach wagon and toys made getting to the beach very easy. If we spent more than 5 minutes on the balcony we were guaranteed to see dolphins in the Intracoastal and went to the 7th floor beach facing balcony each night for sunsets.

The perfect place

I wanted to be closer to family for my Birthday and I also wanted to do a lazy River or the beach and with splash harbor being there and everyone being about to come with us that was included it was perfect. My daughter who is 7 still tells me she wishes she could go back so I’m thinking this will be a birthday tradition for now on. They had everything you could neeed. The living room fuse ball table the children and myself enjoyed. I enjoyed the deck, and it felt like home. I have spent many nights at different places and by far this is my favorite place and I was able to create so many good memories with my parents and children while in nursing school where it’s hard to do anything fun!

November trip

The condo was great except for the dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes well and the pan was awful to cook in. The view was great, the kids loved the water park, short walk to the beach with all of the items we needed in the closet, The kids loved the fooseball coffee table. Overall, we had a nice stay after our trip to Disney.

Perfect location!

We enjoyed a great stay with several young kids. We were walking distance to the beach—and appreciated the sand toys, wagon and beach chairs for days at the beach! We also enjoyed close attractions including an ice cream shop, local bakery, and nature center. The water park was a good way to have variety in our stay. The water slides were really fun! Very clean property and appreciated the safe location.

Great stay!

This was the third time renting in the building, and this room was beautiful. Plenty of space, and the views on the channel are beautiful on the back patio. Will definitely rent this exact room again in the future!

Great for families, could be cleaner

This is a great location to stay for families especially with little kids (with some warnings below). It's within walking distance to the beach and plenty of restaurants. Close to the airports and a lot of attractions.. We brought our 2.5 year old and our 7 month old. We were very excited to stay in a fully equipped condo so that we wouldn't have to drag the kids out for all meals and entertainment. Overall the location and the waterpark made staying here worth it. That being said, there are a couple of things that could be better. The listing said "fully equipped" "cooking basics" to describe the kitchen. But there is not one single pan in the kitchen. There were about 4 pots, no pans at all. Hard to cook eggs on the stove with no pans. Regarding the pack n play included: the pack n play has one side that is bent. It was still functional but it's not in perfect condition. We did have a couple of issues that I would not consider minor. Firstly, the drapes on both bedroom windows are sheer. They block zero sunlight. There are blinds but they also don't block much light. The front bedroom window is facing the outside walkway which is lit all night long. So that front bedroom (not the master) has very bright light coming through the window all night. In the past we have used aluminum foil to blackout a window and it never caused a problem or damage. We did in this case and we were told we had to take it down. We were also told that there are blackout drapes on the window. I actually sent a picture of the drapes to the manager to show that you can see my hand through them and received no response or remedy to the situation in return. We ended up using a blanket to keep the light out so our toddler could sleep. Secondly, there is an entry door in the front bedroom that doesn't stay locked. This door can be opened from the inside even after you lock it. Thankfully we realized this before our toddler just let himself out of the unit. This freaked me out big time and we ended up pushing the television stand in front of the door so it couldn't be opened any longer. I ended up purchasing some laundry detergent so that we could do laundry before we went home. Unfortunately, the dryer left black marks all over some of our white clothing. The living room sofa is very hard and uncomfortable. My kiddo knocked his head on the back of it more than once. I know this is not a huge issue, and it is common for sleeper sofas but it bears mentioning since this place is likely to be rented by people with children. I do believe that the unit could have been cleaned more thoroughly. As I mentioned we have a 7 month old who was crawling everywhere. We kept finding black hairs on her clothing or in her hands. None of us have black hair. It was not great. I also found a finger nail in the rug on the first day. There was also a lot of dust under the sofas (we had to go searching for the foosball a few times). The master bedroom sheets had some glue like material on them too. Overall, the unit is really nice and the location is convenient. I would recommend it and would stay here again.

Perfection

We really enjoyed staying here! The beach wasn’t far and there were plenty of places to eat within walking distance. The boys (ages 5-49) enjoyed watching the boats from the balcony. Prior to arriving, we were nervous about only one parking pass since we had two vehicles, but off street parking was easy to find. When we arrived to the room, I was confused because there were two lock boxes and there was an “A” door and a “B” door. After arriving, we did require some kitchen items that were not available. There were two can openers and neither worked (my husband used his knife and cut the can open). I also needed a large glass bowl, so I did buy one and left it for the next guests to use. The knives are also very dull, I struggled to just cut up a lime. The box fan came in handy our last night because some unruly kids were in the pool causing a ruckus around 11pm and we needed to get up at 5am. Without that box fan, I may not have slept!! If we return to the area we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for having us!

Family Vacation

The property (Condo) itself was outstanding! everything you could want! The complex itself with the water park needs to do a better job of trash pick up in and around the water park including the stairwells leading to the Condo's. The Water park let way to many people into the park on Saturday...even the people who were trying to serve food and drinks were saying that it was way overcrowded!!
