We regret not reading the reviews more carefully before booking. We gave this property a 2 solely for the excellent location and nicely designed rooms—unfortunately, everything else fell short for the price.
At check-in, we waited 20 minutes with no one at the front desk and no way to alert staff. The employee who eventually checked us in had been sitting in the lobby the entire time and was curt and unhelpful. We were told Wi-Fi was down and late checkout wasn’t available, though we were encouraged to enjoy the rooftop after checkout.
One of the main reasons we booked was the rooftop bar, but when we went up at 7:45 p.m., we were told they were closing early despite a posted 10 p.m. closing time—on a holiday weekend. It was also closed the following day, so we never got to experience it.
Breakfast consisted of prepackaged, processed items in the lobby, which did not match the property’s price point.
While the location and room design are strong, the service and amenities did not justify the cost. That said, we want to recognize Ajanae, who we met after checkout. She was kind and professional, and we believe our experience would have been very different had she handled our check-in. She is a true asset to the property.
