"If you want to lounge at the beach all day, stay at one of the beach hotels, but if you want to be in the thick of things, with dozens of shops, restaurants, bars, and night life, there's absolutely no place better than Florida House. It's a historic Inn, and literally on the walking and trolley tours as a place of interest on the island. "Looks so nice outside and Inside.. rooms are all the same though so save yourself the money and the trouble and book the cheapest one when you book your stay because every room is the same,as in each room has a couch with a pull out bed and is a suite.... it's what the front desk told me. So wanted to make that known. But staff is really friendly and easy going they make you feel welcomed during your stay... Nice indoor pool and hot tub ... Really clean quiet and then the breakfast is pretty...

"The hotels location is definitely it's best asset. It's located right on the beach, which we loved. Great staff and service. The hotel generally feels safe and welcoming. The hotel is dated, and so are the amenities. The mood at the breakfast area was great, and the meal was ok, but we have had better at other budget hotels. The beds we're comfortable and the rooms very clean. Simply furnished, but we liked it. We had a great stay."

"Good basic place - value. Room is sizable and had a great view to the sea. Location was amazing in regard to just crossing the street and then you were on the beach. Basic breakfast. Friendly staff."
