Be warned that there are steps throughout the building which made it tricky for our aged parents however we managed to change their room to one without steps to the bathroom with no fuss. Bar service was excellent, we didn't get to down there but the food looked great. "

"From the gorgeous hotel exterior as you walk up to it, to the incredible interior, wonderful staff and beautiful room...where to start!
The hotel itself was incredible wherever you went, with fantastically friendly and attentive staff everywhere you looked!
The Eaterie restaurant, the bar, lounge and even The Vaults for a brilliant Sunday Lunch were terrific as well.
To top it all off, the room was absolutely perfect as well!
It is a very easy decision where to stay when we come back to...

"The Westgate was easy to find and there was parking around the back of the pub as the town seems to have limited parking.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was lovely.

A mini fridge in the room to keep drinks cold & milk rather than have to collect from the restaurant. "Beautiful B&B. Room was delightful and so spacious. Our hosts made us feel very welcome, finding us books and information to enhance our trip. You could feel their warmth and felt that they enjoyed hosting. Really lovely people.

"The Packhorse Inn was a very pleasant inn to stay at for my business trip! The room itself was well air conditioned and the amenities were very comfortable. Any extras needed such as ironing board, etc were readily available from the staff. Had breakfast and supper multiple evenings of my trip and always enjoyed them throughly. Generous portions and reasonable pricing. The inn itself is located next to a quiet and quaint village which is a short few minute drive into Newmarket which is loaded...

Værelset var rent og pænt.
Morgenmaden var meget enkel. Man kunne få “
English Breakfast” med alt hvad dertil hører, æg, pølser, bacon, hashbrowns osv., og så var der cerial i små pakker.
Mælken stod i stuetemperatur og der var kun en slags mælk - ingen yogurt eller lignende. Ingen ost, bortset fra Philadelphia. Ingen frugt.
Betjeningen i restauranten snakkede højlydt med hinanden mellem bordene, bl.a. om andre af personalet - lidt grænseoverskridende/uprofessionelt. "
