Property was absolutely filthy and needed updated at least a decade ago, if not longer. There is a "remodel" going on, but what exactly is being improved? No clue, we saw no improvements. What we did see was torn and hanging wallpaper literally everywhere, construction dust and trash from days? weeks? months? prior with absolutely no attempt to keep the establishment tidy. There was a sign on the front desk saying there is no maid/housekeeping and it definitely showed. As other reviews for the hotel have stated on Google, there are regulars staying at this hotel that harass other guests. We were awoken at midnight by someone knocking, banging, and trying to forcefully enter the room. My husband asked who it was, they said "Helen" and he told her to leave. Through the entire incident, we called the front desk from our cell phone and the room phone approx. 10 times and no one would answer. When we finally got someone on the phone, they acted as if they knew exactly what was going on and would "send someone up". Definitely top 2 worst hotels we've ever stayed at. At this point it could only be improved by being sold, leveled, and all new staff hired.
