Water Cliff is a charming 4 bedroom villa which offers the best of both worlds: a fabulous location and a spectacular view. The villa is situated on the west end of St. John, just around the corner from the main town of Cruz Bay. With about a 2 minute drive to town and 8 minutes to the world class beaches of the Virgin Islands National Park, you can spend more time having fun and less time getting there! And yet, Water Cliff’s tranquil neighborhood will ensure you feel far away from the hustle and bustle of Cruz Bay for the times you’d rather kick back and relax in the comfort of your own private villa.

Water Cliff is a quiet retreat perched atop a dramatic cliff just above the crystal clear turquoise sea. Listen to the sound of the waves crashing below. Gaze out over the unreal Caribbean blue water – there is nothing between you and the sparkling sea. The islands to count are many: Besides St. Thomas, you can see Great St. James, Little St. James, Dog Island and French Cap. On a clear day you can see St. Croix and sometimes even Vieques! From your waterfront vantage point you might see sailboats cruising by on a beam reach, locals diving for lobsters and an occasional kayak or SUP boarder. Guests have even reported spotting amazing sea life from the deck – a mother dolphin and her baby swimming by, a tarpon jumping out of the water, turtles coming up for air…and once someone even saw a manta ray! Spectacular sunsets are a common occurrence, and the sparkling lights of St. Thomas each evening will never fail to delight you.

The house was designed in a breezy Caribbean architectural style, to make the most of the dramatic view, but also the steady trade winds. Outdoor living spaces abound. From the shady covered decks on every room, to the alfresco dining options, to lazy lounging on the pool deck – you will find a place to make the most of St. John’s wonderful warm and sunny weather. The comfortable open floor plan gives the whole house a relaxed and casual vibe. The bright and cheerful décor can’t help but make you feel at home in the tropics. Water Cliff truly reflects the nature of St. John – a laid back island bursting with color and life.

Water Cliff is ideal for groups and families, as it offers a fabulous great room and pool deck for socializing, but also separate private bedrooms perfect for a little down time. The house is organized in two wings on either side of the pool. On the west side, the great room sits above a studio apartment, and on the east side there are three en suite bedrooms. The layout intentionally provides for lots of space between the living areas, making it easy for everyone to do their own thing when they wish. Each bedroom also has its own bathroom and outdoor shower and every bedroom has an incredible sea view!

Water Cliff is equipped with everything you need for a great vacation – from linens to kitchen equipment, and everything you need for the beach. All you need to do is come ready to have a good time! Our friendly property management team will ensure your smooth arrival to the villa and give you a quick orientation on island living. They are located on St. John and are close by should you need assistance during your stay.
