    Dette 5BR / 4BA fantastiske BEACHFRONT hjem er beliggende langs høje klitter og naturlige vegetation i et privat kvarter kendt som 'Bluffs', der ligger inden for den prestigefyldte St. George Plantation samfund.

    Munter og friskindrettede, øverste etage boligareal tilbyder en Gulfside stue med stor HDTV og Blu-ray DVD-afspiller, åben spiseplads med en malerisk udsigt over golfen og et rummeligt køkken. Slap af i brisen på det overdækkede dæk med udsigt over glitrende golfvand, lounge med en strand læst fra vores omfattende bogbibliotek eller tilbring dagen med strandpromenaden. Det veludstyrede køkken tilbyder masser af plads til flere kokke, et dedikeret spisekammer og nye apparater. for ekstra bekvemmelighed har vi en standard kaffemaskine på 12 kopper og Keurig kaffemaskine.

    Fire soveværelser, herunder to master suiter, kan findes på de nederste etager. Den første konge suite med fladskærms-tv og Blu-ray DVD-afspiller tilbyder bred vinduesudsigt over Den Mexicanske Golf og åbner ud mod et møbleret soldæk. Det rummelige eget badeværelse kan prale med et boblebad og brusebad, dobbelt håndvaske og masser af bordplads.

    Den anden master suite åbner ud mod en møbleret og privat screenet veranda med trin for adgang til baghave og shell-foret strand sti. Denne konge-suite har fladskærms-tv og Blu-ray-dvd-afspiller og eget badeværelse med badekar / bruser.

    På tværs af gangen finder du det tredje og fjerde soveværelse hver med 2 enkeltsenge og et fladskærms-tv. Et komplet badeværelse med separat forfængelighed område og badekar / bruser er tilgængelig lige uden for disse to soveværelser.

    På stueetagen af hjemmet er vores rumpus værelse. Dette sekundære boligareal tilbyder et stort HDTV med Blu-Ray DVD-afspiller, Wii-spil system, brætspil og puslespil. Et komplet badeværelse med badekar / bruser, Queen size sovesofa og tvilling over fuld køjeseng gøre dette rum fra en rummelig kids suite til et ekstra soveværelse. Glidende glasdøre åbner ud på en overdækket dækplads på bunden med strandpromenade lige udenfor døren eller til den vedlagte varme / kolde udendørs bruser med fodvaskestation, fiskrengøring og gasgrill.

    Kun en kort gåtur over ejendommen er den store, fælles pool begrænset til gæster i Bluffs kvarter. Og som gæst bor inde i St. George Plantation samfund, har du også adgang til de to fælles swimmingpools - en kun to blokke væk, tennis og pickleball domstole og klubhus.

    Yderligere bekvemmeligheder omfatter overdækket parkering og adgang, helhus intercom system, vaskerum med fuld størrelse vaskemaskine / tørretumbler, pack-n-play og badehåndklæder til din brug. Vi tillader også op til 2 mellemstore hunde med forhåndsgodkendelse for et gebyr på 100 USD.

Wonderful Experience

Dune our Thing did not disappoint. Beautiful home with nice furnishings. Fantastic kitchen with great pots/pans and everything we needed for cooking all week. Owner very responsive when A/C went out and it was fixed quickly. The A/C worked great after that. Would definitely stay again!

It was a fairly long walk to the beach and the steps on the boardwalk will sneak up on you so you have to watch as you are walking or risk falling or jarring your whole body (speaking from experience!). The only suggestion I would offer is more comfortable seating upstairs in the living room.

I wasn’t expecting so many steps. Many many switches for lights, fans etc. none were labeled. The availability of phone cameras allows user to provide property pictures to show angles and spaces of rooms at their best. The upstairs was a nice kitchen tv room. The mbr and bath were awesome. It was nice to have the gas grill to use one evening. Outdoor shower was a definite plus. Roaches were a bother but dealt with quickly by the management. On the subject of management, the property owner should be very happy with the group they have. They were very responsive to any issue we had and questions.

Dune Our Thing

The arrangements of bedrooms worked out well for our group of 8 adults. The three levels of staircases were a challenge for our two toddlers under age four, with the kitchen/living area on the top level. We could see the water, but not the beach from the house, due to the dunes. The house was well equipped, and the beds were all super comfortable. The walk to the beach involved lots of steps up and down over the dunes. We found there was not enough comfortable seating for us all in the family area, nor on the porch. But overall it was a very nice and clean house. Property management addressed our concerns quickly when we had a problem with the gas grill and then a leak from the ice maker. We especially enjoyed the Bluff neighborhood pool, just across the street from the house!

Plantation Perfection

The house is located in The Plantation on St George. We vacationed with my husbands family(5 adults & 5 teens-ages 13-17). We had plenty os space to spread out when we needed and plenty of space to come together. A beautiful view of the Gulf just over the dunes. The boardwalk out to ocean was well taken care of. The house itself was beautiful! The owners and/or property management had thought of everything to have on property-plenty of tableware, silverware, & drinkware. There were 2 coffee makers (Keurig & regular ol’ coffee pot) & an espresso machine. They had provided towels, first round of TP, & so much more. While we were there, the Keurig stopped working & we had a new one in just a few hours-very quick & attentive property management!! I did learn not to order Amazon to the house b/c they don’t accept Amazon orders to renters;however,a quick,easy, & much needed outing to the post office fixed that!Also,if not accustomed to mineral-ly (sorry I just created a word),take your own water & buy ice just before coming over the bridge! Also know (if this is your first trip) Piggly Wiggly is all you got! If you’re coming through Tallahassee & want to stop off at Costco or Publix-bring a cooler! All the beds were comfy-my son said even the sofa bed was comfy ☺️ Our family loved the shower water pressure. Oh, speaking of shower, we LOVED the outside shower!!As for the ocean & beach, it’s full of marine life!!We’ll be back Dune Our Thing!

Paradise Found!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All I can say is that our party of 9 (3-60 in age) enjoyed our stay. Home is literally a few steps from the beach. Everyone had plenty of space to be alone or to gather as a group, especially for meals. I could tell you plenty about town but wish to express opinion on the rental unit itself mostly. Nicely decorated home, comfy furnishings. Kitchen was well equipped but as ladies who cook, we would have preferred non-stick pans and an actual vent, not just a fan. We cooked all week except for 2 evenings. Home is laid out so that our group could have privacy when desired. Our mornings and evenings were always out on the deck watching the stars and sun. Soaking up the sounds of the beach and watching the dolphins and birds, plus all the crab activity. I really can't think of anything that we would change, except those pans lol. Staff at the Plantation and rental company was courteous and polite. If you love the laid back secluded beach life then this is the place for you. No residents for 2-3 houses down and practically had the beach to ourselves, with the exception of an occasional walker. SGI was more than we had imagined and both husbands wanted to go write a check to stay another week by the middle of our stay. The Pig is the place to buy almost everything we ate or drank, even fresh seafood. The outside grill area came in handy for a crab boil and a steak night. If you need a little extra, the liquor store is right next door to it. Our entire group would highly recommend Dune Our Thing and the entire staff at Forgotten Shores Properties. SGI we will be back!!! And I've already recommended this property and FSP to others.

Great place for family vacation!

Four generations of our family enjoyed staying in this house. Plenty of room to spread out and rest with a large common area to come together!

Dune our Thing Family Stay

We thoroughly enjoyed or stay at this property. The house was very clean and the furnishings were comfortable. There are a few things that would have made the stay more comfortable. More towels would have meant we did not have to do laundry as frequently. Only one towel and washcloth was provided per person for a week long stay. Tape/paint on the short step in the back to draw attention to it. Two of our family members fell there. The ice maker did not work and was frozen over for our entire stay. The home is not at all accessible or equips for safety, the Master Bath has a large bubble tub where the shower is but it is deep and has no hand rails. This was the source of a slip and bad bruise for a member of our party. We enjoyed the stay despite these notes and particularly loved the screened porch. Thank you for having our family.

St. George Vacation

The house was very nice. It was odd that the kitchen/living was on the top floor with no restroom. There was plenty of space for my family who went. It is not good for someone who is partially disabled. Lots of stair climbing and if you were on the top level you had to at least go down a flight of stairs to use the bathroom. The walkway to the beach made beach access nice but also a disabled person would have trouble with all the stairs. There was no handicap accessiblity to get to the beach nearby.

Great house right on the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time at Dune our thing for a week in July. We arrived 30 mins prior to check in but no problem! We were allowed to enter the plantation and arrived at the house to find the cleaners. We grabbed our beach gear and headed to the beach! We rented bikes but honestly over 3 miles was a little far for the kids to bike to town, but we did it twice! We rarely left the house and felt safe enough for our kids (7 & 9) to hang at the house by theirselves for 30 mins at a time-which they LOVED, while we hung at the beach. They liked having their own space downstairs and we loved it too! Kitchen was well stocked and we loved the porches and outdoor shower was AMAZING!! If you are looking for a place to get away from the crowd and enjoy waves and quality family time you HAVE to visit Dune our thing!! Oh and we caught a TON of fish from the beach!! Can’t wait to book for next year!
