"Stayed here on a whim, travel a lot with work and try to pick small independent places where I can, usually with a pub. Unfortunately, the pub was shut as it was a Monday, but I just crossed the road and went there for food and drinks so no problem.
The room was beautiful, bright, very clean and very spacious. It looked newly decorated and done very tastefully, felt like I was staying in a stately home, not the local boozer! I mentioned to some locals I was working with that I was staying here...

"Var på smuttur med manden, kombineret familie besøg og kvalitetstid. Vi kom 1 time før indtjekning og havde ikke mulighed for at få værelset før. Værelset var rent ved ankomst, men der blev ikke gjort rent på værelset i de 3 dage vi havde det. Der var køleskab, strygejern, hårtørrer, pengeskab og thekedel på værelset. Der var så varmt på værelset og der var ingen Air-con. Morgenmaden var okay og rigeligt af det. Hotellet ligger midt i Darligton med larmen til følge"

There were a few extra touches such as anniversary card, truffles and macrons and rose petals on the bed with towels folded into swans. The copper bath was huge.
