Check in was a breeze with Michelle meeting us out front of the building (they were even able to get us checked in a few hours early!) "The property was beautiful. Such a unique house. I love that the owners kept some items to reflect the building's former life as a church but still made it completely homey at the same time. They were very quick to reply to any questions we had. Upon arrival we were greeted with a nice welcome note and some snacks. They made sure the house was stocked with everything we may have needed. "Wisconsin in the Spring is just amazing. And this little cabin just a few feet from waters edge, perched on a wooded hillside provided a quiet break. Glad the cabin had a Keurig. "The attached photos accurately depict this rustic property. Unique, yet comfortable, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had an issue where the Keurig was broken. The owner brought me a new one the next day. One thing that isn't necessarily evident in the photos is that the stairs to the bedrooms in the loft are very steep. "Clean property. Cute tent! The tent was closer to a neighboring property than pictures are able to show, but for most of our visit, the people living at that property were quiet. They were just busy working around their property. The chickens wandering the property and sometimes around our site were cute! The rooster crowing at 5am was a surprise, but thankfully I had packed earplugs. My sister did not though, so after a couple of hours of crowing, we decided to get a jump start on the day....

"All the staff I met were helpful and welcoming. Parking was convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with the exception that the building's external lights were directly outside my windows. "Location was nice, house was ok. Bathrooms need updating and don't look that clean. Water has very strong sulphur smell, which is worse with hot water and less noticable with cold. Very unnerving to shower with such bad smelling water. Water quality was not mentioned at all in description or instructions. Is the water safe to drink, safe to shower with? Who knows..."
