"Our stay (one week) at The Maria Rosaria exceeded all our expectations. This is a real hotel where the manager seems to be on duty and is visible from the early morning to late at night. They have an army of personnel making sure that the hotel and surrounding garden is In perfect condition. "The hotel has a great location right beside the harbor. We got upgraded to a sea view room. It's nice to sit on the balcony and feel the life around the harbor, travelers coming and boats leaving. Excursions take place at this harbor, great position if you want to visit the nearby beaches which can only be accessed with boats, e.g. Cala Luna.
The hotel is clean and tidy. The room could feel a bit small (for families), but perfect as a base for daily excursions in Cala Gonone/Dorgali.

"Cozy little hotel. Fantastic service and lovely staff. The location is great right out to the beach. And the restaurant is great. Also, the hotel has two small ponds with turtles, nice little surprise! Overall had a great stay there.
Only negative things to say is the beds is not the best and there is very limited WI-FI and phone reception in room. "

"Terrible stay marked by poor facilities, horrible breakfast, and slow and careless service—all at a rather expensive price. The room was fine but the resort facilities generic and uninspiring PACKED with people. We got the feeling that the staff didn’t care about the place/giving good service. Access to the beach is there, but be aware that only the sun beds at the back are available to guests without an extra fee. The hotel makes sure to provide noice pollution in the form of extremely loud—and poor—music with an Italian speaker interrupting the beat. The breakfast buffet is a joke filled with rotten fruit and minimal selection. This hotel does not live up to its price at all. "
