Hoteller nær Southsea Hoverport

"We were staying at Q8 for The Great South Run and the staff at Q8 could not have been more helpful! I emailed in advance to see if there would be a fridge available to keep our breakfast to have before the run and they responded within an hour to confirm they would sort this for us and we could use the fridge in the lounge area. On the day of the run the weather was awful so we asked if there was anyone coming into our room and if not whether we could pop back for a shower after the run before...

"Nice room, the bed was good, the bathroom small but very nice. The room was facing the coast so a beautiful view. The inner curtains was torn - that’s the only thing I can complain about. "

"The hotel room was very clean and comfortable, the reception staff were excellent and the hotel was in a very good location for access on foot to the historic docks and Gunwharf Quays. Did not eat at hotel or use the bar so cannot comment on these facilities. If you are able to utilise one of the hotel's free parking bays which we did, this is another asset of the hotel."

"As a couple arriving without a car, it was nice that the train station was quite close, and it was possible to walk to the beaches d port in Southsea and Portsmouth. It's a budget hotel, so naturally it's quite basic. However, as we as tourists intended to be outside the whole day and only use the room for sleep and luggage storage, it fitted our purpose.
