Hoteller i Southern

"I thought the breakfast area was a little tight with as many guests that were trying to get their breakfast. Alcove didn't flow well"

"The room smelled like mold. We got in late so we didn't have the time to look for another hotel around the area. Also, it's not as close to the New River Gorge as advertised."

"Property under construction. Surprise to us when we arrived. Room was clean, but no grab bars in shower, no hot water the second day, hair dryer did not work. Vanity light/mirror was not good for doing makeup. Coffee pot but no coffee. Room key did not work and the clerk was not happy he had to bring us another one. Breakfast was cold. No juice. Ice machine did not work. Lobby was a mess of construction and elevator floor light did not all work. Parts hanging off the elevator door. Many...

"No elevator."

"It was quiet and perfect for an overnight stay"

"Unique set up and cute, quaint town. Very peaceful and full of personality."

"Beautiful place with friendly staff."

"Good location. Short drive to multiple dining options and less than 1 hour from the Green Bank Observatory. Rooms are dated but spacious and clean. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly."

"The Old Clarke Inn is in a fine location for motorcycle riding. There is covered parking for motorcycles and other bike friendly amenities. Within walking distance of food."

"Maintenance is lacking on the entire property. The bathroom mirror had a nice saying (not family friendly) on it that showed up vividly when steamed over which happened easily since the fan was useless. "

"This is a beautiful property. I stayed in the lodge and it was quiet and comfortable. It had a main kitchen where you were set up with a coffee pot, filters and coffee, a keurig (bring your own cups) and basically a full kitchen with all appliances available to cook a meal and a table to eat at and read the paper. . The entrance lobby is a big beautiful room and a back porch. The restaurant is good and the staff warm and friendly The fly shop is where you check in and they couldn’t be more...

"Really nice hotel room with fireplace, deep soaking bathtub, and robes. The hotel staff helped us find a great place to eat. The location was amazing. Just what we needed!"

"Worked for our quick half stop trip down south for 8 howeverthe place was not clean and one of the rooms had mold and stains on the ceiling. Unusable and disgusting room. Dust was still all over the dressers and fridge was something I wouldn't put any food. Found a cleaning rag in the bed and the floor in the master bedroom was warping with water damage. There was also a musty smell in the entire place. In the end you get what you pay for."
