"The shepherd huts are almost new and very well equipped, much larger than expected with quality fittings and underfloor heating. Lovely wooden worktops. The bed is a little high for some but fine for us. There are steps up, which you would expect. The outer hut areas have yet to see any grass, unlike a general area with oicnic benches that are grassed. Overall excellent value. "

"Super overnight stay in this charming inn. Immediately felt at home and everyone is so welcoming. Drinks prices are very reasonable and we love the hot pork scratchings on the bar. "This property was my style of hotel, lots of character with a charming secret garden to dine in, but very modern rooms. Even had a towel warmer!
Like all European hotels, they don't provide wash cloths, but I just used the corner of a towel since I had forgotten to bring a wash cloth. Not a big deal.
