"We love this property! This is our second trip to Kauai and both times we stayed at this Marriott. The pools are saltwater and so relaxing to be in. We enjoyed the hot tub too. This property is located directly off Poipu Beach. Right down the beach you can see the turtles at sunset and the occasional monk seals. Many of the people who stay there are time share owners but we are not. We basically had a nice hotel room. The reasoning for the 4 stars was our AC. We had maintenance come in on 4...

"For a four star hotel... the pool in particular was run down. There are traffic cones around the pool deck, spots where the tiles in the pool are chipped, and the handrail into the hot tub is wobbly. On the bright side, the bed was super comfy, and I enjoyed doing the yoga on the beach that is included in the resort fee."

"This funky, family-friendly complex was a change of pace from my wife’s and my usual condo/hotel stays. Lava Lava Beach Club restaurant and nightly music, plus beachfront, were awesome. Amenities were sadly mostly overrun by teenagers and younger kids, and only available very early and hit-and-miss late. Parking/valet is congested and sometimes nightmarish, if “free.” That said, we enjoyed plenty of beach time, breezy balcony relaxation, and a few moments in the great hot tub, unfortunately...

"For the price this is a GREAT option. Centrally located, amazing breakfast/lunch place downstairs and all the required basics for an over night stay. It isn't fancy but makes up for it in local charm, history, fair price and location. Only issue for me is walls are thin ( or some people are exceptionally inconsiderate/loud -- I'd suggested posting asking guests to be mindful of noise and disturbing others. I stayed 3 night - 2 of those I didn't get much sleep ( next time i'll bring ear plugs in...

"We were a little disappointed with this hotel. In general it didn’t look like it had been updated for many many years. That being said the room was ok. Breakfast was a grab and go with a horrible and small selection. Rooms didn’t get cleaned, while we were there (3 nights), which probably was due to Covid precautions. We couldn’t store luggage after check out, which also was a little irritating, when we had a late flight."

"Fint hotel og god placering. Hjælpsomt personale. Skøn udsigt. Dejligt poolområde og helt tæt på stranden. Rengøring skulle bestilles 2 døgn i forvejen “grundet covid ??” Så vi fik kun 1 rengøring på 5 nætter. Dog kunne der hentes rene håndklæder i receptionen. Sengen var dog virkelig elendig. Tv’et virkede ikke, så de refunderede resortfee, God stil. Vi havde sen hjemflyvning og fik lov at opholde os ved pool med poolhåndklæder hele dagen helt selvfølgeligt :) Jeg vil ikke sige...

"Worn and dirty The room was worn with a number of deficiencies, e.g. rust ran down the bathtub, the doors in the room had obvious large, black stains of dirt and there was old dust and dirt in the corners. The room had a small balcony, but the furniture was so dirty that it could not be used. The hotel hallway was not cleaned during the 6 days we stayed there.
