NEW! Renovated 1st Floor Beach 250ft Pool

  • Habitat 1 is an oversized, ground-floor space with two-bedroom, two full baths

    condo at 108 E Padre Blvd — no stairs, no gate, and your gear goes straight

    from the car to the patio with the pool thirty feet away.

    Just over half a block to public beach access. In-unit washer and dryer, space

    for up to 8, and up to 2 pets welcome. While not a brand-new remodel — many

    updates & the price reflects that honestly, and so does everything you get for

    it.

    The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for home

    cooking. A starter supply of coffee, filters, creamer, sweetener, tea, cooking

    spray, salt, and pepper is included, along with toiletries, soaps, and trash

    bags - starter amounts though not replenished. Clean, crisp linens & fresh

    towels are provided on all standard beds - please do bring some additional

    bedding if you plan on using the couch and/or airbed.



    The unit is all tile throughout superior to those with allergies. This kitchen

    opens straight to the larger than average living room, and you will enjoy over

    1100 sq feet vs the standard 800 ft you will find in most South Padre 2

    bedroom condos.



    Five reasons to book:

    King bed in the master with en suite full bath; queen-over-queen adult-sized

    bunk bed plus a single trundle pull-out in the second bedroom — sleeping that

    works for mixed adult groups, couples, and families in any combination not

    including a couch & a provided airbed & pump just in case



    Relaxing patio with plywood Adirondack chairs with a partial pool view — the

    pool is non-heated and fairly basic, but the elevated adult sundeck above it

    is a quiet retreat most guests don’t realize is there; both are plus no

    walking through the complex to reach them



    Renovated kitchen with new white stone counters and appliances, open to the

    living area — eat-in counter with room for a laptop in case of some work to

    complete, Large smart TV in the living room, and enough seating for the whole

    group to wind down together



    Walkable location to Kelly’s Irish Pub is at the end of the block for drink

    specials and late-night food; a short walk further puts you at Sea Turtle Inc,

    Rockin’ Cigar Bar, and the beach strip with Clayton’s Beach Bar, Barry’s Beach

    Bar, and Bar Louie

    SLEEPING (Up to 8 Guests)

    Primary bedroom: King bed with en suite full bath. Second bedroom: queen-over-

    queen adult-sized bunk bed and a single trundle pull-out — bring your own

    bedding for the trundle, pull-out couch in the room or airbed if you plan on

    using. The 8-guest maximum does include infants and children. Clearly this

    space wins on number of beds



    NEIGHBORHOOD:

    As east side or beach side of the super busy Padre Blvd, there are no busy

    streets to cross to get to the public beach access point end of the block. We

    do suggest bringing a beach wagon for your gear to make life easier



    Super close to -

    * Kelly’s Irish Pub for excellent Reubens and chicken tacos. Kitchen up real late too, plus darts and pool in case of any rain - less than 1 block

    * Captains Cove fine dining on the water. 1.5 blocks away - seafood, craft cocktails



    Generally walkable to -

    * Clayton’s Beach Bar - about 1 mile down the beach north

    * Bar Louie at the Marriott - same as Clayton’s near next door

    * Barry’s Beach Bar at the Hilton Garden Inn

    Also if you have kids en tow, “Must See” is Sea Turtle Inc, 2 blocks away the

    largest sea turtle rehab project on the Gulf Coast. Small fee, interactive,

    great rainy day activity.



    PARKING

    One reserved spot in front of the unit accommodates a full-sized truck or two

    smaller vehicles — parking is free here, unlike hotels on the island that

    charge for every car. Habitat does not have additional guest parking beyond

    that one spot, so plan accordingly. Free overflow parking is always available

    at the SPI Convention Center, post office, and occasionally available less

    than a block away free along Gulf Blvd, particularly on weekdays.



    PETS

    Up to 2 pets are welcome. Please inquire before booking — specific rules and

    fees apply and must be confirmed prior to your reservation.

    High-speed WIFI is included throughout the condo; please note that Spectrum

    service can be spotty at times, so come prepared with a hotspot on your phone

    if you have must-do work as it can go down.



    DISCOUNTS — JUST ASK

    Reduced rates for off-season stays (September 15 – December 15), veterans and

    active military, and current Texas tackle football coaches (our sons play for

    Lake Travis in Austin — Go Cavs!). Send a message and ask.



    POLICIES

    Primary guest must be 23 or older. Guests under 23 require prior approval

    before booking and a substantial additional refundable damage deposit, if

    approved at all. A signed digital rental agreement and valid photo ID are

    required before check-in. Strict cancellation policy applies. Quiet hours run

    from 9 PM to 9 AM. No smoking, no parties, no loud music at any time. The

    property is security patrolled as well. Thank you for your understanding.



    SELF CHECK-IN & MANAGEMENT

    Blvd, open 7 days a week. Door codes are sent by text by 3 PM on your arrival

    day. If early check-in matters, reach out around 1 PM on arrival day and we

    will do our best — it is not guaranteed, but we will try.



    We PRO-clean between each reservation and stay — not a quick cleanup, done

    right every time. We have staff on 24 hours a day, a real bonus you cannot

    find with a mom-and-pop host. Starter toiletries and cleaning supplies are

    provided but not replenished. For stays of 3 nights or more, complimentary

    linen and towel exchange is available at the South Padre Trips office at 2600

    Padre Blvd — the best property manager on South Padre Island.
