Charming Condo in a Beach Front Resort

Relax in this wonderful condo in a beach front resort. Bahia Mar resort is one of the originals on this island, but you won't feel that way when you get here. They have undergone a multi million dollar make over. Bahia Mar is paradise! The Resort is gorgeous and updated with two pools (heated and cooled), two hot tubs, tennis courts, fenced in playground, and gorgeous sundeck right before you get to the beach. This condo has also been updated. You will love the charm of staying at this wonderful 2BR/2BA condo from Rent On Padre. Between the resort and the condo, you will feel like you are on a tropical vacation! It's time to kick back and get your toes in the sand! Bahia Mar resort is beach front with two private beach accesses.

Bahia Mar 565 is a 2nd floor walk up condo. The stairs are easy. Inside the condo you have a primary bedroom with a King size bed. This primary bedroom is on the 3rd floor with a private desk to work at if you need to. The second bedroom has 2 queens. This condo also has a sleeper sofa. You are allowed a total of 8 people here. Both bedrooms and the living room all have flat screen TVs. There are also two private balconies, including one right off the master bedroom, which is up the spiral staircase. Although, this unit does not have a view, It is still nice to sit on your private balcony. This condo also includes a washer dryer combo.

Bahia Mar is pet friendly with a 25 pound weight limit over 1 year old. Please contact us directly for pet approval.

For your convenience, beach chairs and umbrella rentals are available from Bahia Mar Resort. Enjoy a delicious barbecue on the designated area in the property with grills also available for rental.

The condo was very clean, but it was on the 2nd floor- master was in the 3rd floor and had to access it through a spiral staircase.Not for me! Or my husband. We are both 60 and it was a hassle going to the beach with all our stuff and having to go up and down two flights of stairs.No ramps or elevator so definitely not for any handicap. The condo itself was very clean - towels were thin , but plentiful. Condo has beach chairs and a cart which was very helpful- but again going up and down the stairs and no ramps we had to carry the cart part of the way. Pool and beach were good. But no bathroom in any of the public areas. Great for young people- very family friendly. There was a kids splash pad that looked very cute. Good security which was great.

Nice condo @ Bahia Mar

Nice condo, good location and good amenities at Bahia Mar. pools were nice but some tables had no umbrellas. Splash pool was closed except for a few days with no explanation (we had a 5 year old). Pans could be replaced and the towel rack upstairs was not secured to the wall. Beds were just ok, not what we are used to. Should be re-laced. Overall we would probably not go back to Bahia Mar, not because of this condo but because it is more of a party place and not a family environment.

This was the best vacation ever..... within walking distance to the beach. Lots of good restaurants in the area.

Great Location but Condo needs some updating

Have stayed at the same property previously but not at this condo. The location and beach access are fantastic. Private balconies and beach access are wonderful. Ability to rent a canopy is great too. The condo was pretty clean with exception of carpet being pretty stained. There was a heavy must odor upon arrival, improved with turning AC down/cooler but still present. Washer and dryer is really not a very efficient process and is hidden in the AC closet. It never really got anything completely dry. We had a roach in the property one night, which I know can happen in Texas, but this was not the outdoor type. The building appears to be needing a lot of maintenance on the outside. Leaking water from one unit and poorly lit stairways.

Beach days

Condo was great. Everything we needed AC worked great, towels, beach toys, kitchen supplies all provided. Master bedroom was on upper level so very private and quiet. First bedroom and living area on the lower level but still up a flight of stairs and not very convenient to parking area to be warned if you bring a lot of stuff you may have to make several trips. No view of beach or pool from any window but both are a short walk distance and the grounds/gardens are very nice and well kept.

Loved it!

Location was great! Private beach access. The actual condo itself was just a short walk to the beach. A very nice pool. The condo had beach chairs and sand toys and Cooler you can use. My only suggestion would be if you plan on using the couch bed bring covers there were no extras. No big deal we made it work! I did see a previous review saying there was no dryer on the property but there is. The washer is a 2 in 1. So there is a setting for washing and drying. The washer is the dryer! Loved our stay and can’t wait to return.

Spacious condo and short walk to the beach

We had a great time! There was plenty of space and a short walk to the beach. Staff was also very helpful! We’ll definitely be staying here again.

anot staying at this condo again

they made us troubleshoot the washer that had water dripping out of it and locked our clothes inside. also only a washer that was messed up and not working, but no dryer on this property, the king size bed upstairs had hairs on it, the internet and wifi wasnt working, the TVs weren’t connecting to the internet even after we troubleshooted the internet and had to be on the phone with the internet company

Nice vacations

We were very comfortable and enjoyed very much our stay. The only thing that we missed is more places to hang towels and swimsuits in both bathrooms, because hanging stuff in balconies is not permitted.

Prs: Super close to beach and pools. Loved that you could rent tents and chairs with set up! Condo was very roomy, clean, and cool. Cons: Outdated Kitchen, but still nice and in good shape. No full body mirrors, which def isnt the worse, but my teenager wasn't having it. Lol. And the washer/dryer combo was sooo slow. Buttt, i would totally stay again.

This was an amazing experience! Would do it again!

We were allowed to enter the property early due to us arriving sooner then we thought and that was seem-less! The place was clean and so close to the beach. The pool is also amazing. The parking was very nice. The beach had a private beach so it wasn’t as crowded as other locations on the island. Then we were allowed a late check out and that gave us just a enough time to enjoy part of the day on the water then shower before our long drive back home. Again it was lovely and would definitely rent again.
