Beautiful and peaceful setting
Clean and tidy property, idyllic location, peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Bedroom one very comfortable, and clean. Bedroom two perfect for two teenage boys, it gave them their privacy! Property had everything needed for a comfortable stay, even towels which I wasn’t expecting! We felt very welcomed!! On arrival host greeted and welcomed us, gave us simple instructions and left us to it (host on site). Can’t comment on local amenities as we travelled to West Somerset Railway for the weekend, but travel time to Minehead, Taunton and Bishops Lydeard was reasonable. Beautiful scenery along the way. Property was easy to find! I would stay here again and recommend it as a peaceful retreat, and if I was on my own I would take more advantage of the local area and go for walks and soak up more of the peace.

Amazing property, amazing holiday ⭐️
We loved our stay at Diane’s beautiful cottage. We were so happy with the the beautiful property as well as the tranquil setting. Dianne was there to greet us shortly after we arrived and was very warm and welcoming . The property itself was exceptionally clean, had everything and more we could have wanted. The location was perfect fir us to explore the area yet tranquil enough fir us to relax from the busyness of from the city we are used too, so much so we asked asked Diane if we could extend our stay which she was more than accommodating. Would love to stay again and would love to be be able to bring our young children with us next time.

Very tranquil converted barn. Ideal for us as we like to get away from traffic noise on our holidays. The owner greeted us with a cream tea, but then left us to enjoy our holiday.

Very comfy and clean cottage
Lovely setting with a gorgeous garden and outlook over fields. Very clean and equipped with everything needed. Beds were comfortable. Location for Exmoor and north Devon Coast was great, with easy driving access to lovely walks, beaches and villages!

Wonderful few days
My mum and I came on a nostalgia trip to visit North Devon where I spent all my childhood summers. We spent 4 nights at Stream Cottage and it was an excellent central point to access the beautiful towns we wanted to visit. The cream tea provided on arrival was delicious - thank you very much Diane. The cottage is lovely and a home away from home. I would definitely recommend and would visit again for a longer stay.

Myself and my two children 8 and 12 had a lovely bank holiday weekend at Stream Cottage. Close proximity to Exmoor zoo, Barnstaple and the North coast beaches... South Molton is only a short drive away from Stream Cottage, which has a Sainsbury's and other amenities.... Sat Nav will take you to the correct location..Follow it (we didn't and got lost) it will take you to Stream Cottage..I have an Android phone and Google maps.. Diane is a great host, available if you need anything... My children loved the scones and clotted cream on arrival 😄.... Thankyou...

Lovely retreat
It was such a lovely stay here at stream cottage so lovely and peaceful. The accommodation was lovely and clean and the surroundings were so relaxing. We stayed here for 4 days and I didn’t want to go home so I guess that sums it up

We had a lovely stay . Cottage was warm and comfortable , plenty of space with everything we needed , and some added scone treats . The location was very peaceful and not far from some stunning coastline . We would definitely like to return to explore the area some more .

A lovely cottage and bar to explore Exmoor and surrounds
A lovely peaceful location in rural Devon. Nestled in the foothills of exmoor this makes for a great base to explore. The owners are very helpful and it is a privilege to enjoy their beautiful gardens too surrounding the cottage. Cottage has everything you need in the kitchen and great cooking facilities.

Lovely little cottage
Spotlessly clean and well equipped detached cottage in a peacefully quiet location. Good walk in shower, (always important for us), central heating was needed during our visit and worked well, spacious enough for 4 people and plenty of storage space.

Absolutely faultless, the property is in an idyllic location with everything that is required for a family of four to stay. It is clean, tidy, well furnished and maintained, ideally situated for trips out or spending a quiet day in the tranquil grounds. Would definitely return, very helpful Hosts.

Short North Devon break
Stream cottage was a lovely location for a short break. Quiet and peaceful, a beautiful, well equipped and comfortable cottage and centrally located for all North Devon places of interest. We were met on our arrival by the owner, whom we had previously communicated with, who couldn’t have been more accommodating. The cream tea which was waiting for us was a lovely touch.

We had a lovely stay in Stream cottage. The location was serene and quiet, the perfect escape from city living. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We visited Westward Ho, Hartland Quay and Combe Martin during our stay. Thank you for the lovely scones.

A peaceful haven
If you want a tranquil, get away from it all break, this is the place for you! The directions supplied to get to the property are easily followed. Your first impression as you go through the gate is amazing as you are greeted with beautiful well kept gardens. The jam, clotted cream and scones waiting for you is a lovely touch. The cottage is spotlessly clean, with fully equipped kitchen and everything else you will need for your stay. You literally just need to bring your clothes and towels. You can explore the area or just stay around relaxing, with only the birds "disturbing" the peace. South Molton has a Sainburys for all your needs and if you want to eat out there are numerous pubs around. One we would recommend is the Stags Head (turn right just past the bee farm on the way to South Molton), the food is excellent. Finally Diane, the host is lovely. She introduced herself just after we arrived, made sure we were OK and knew where to find her and then left us to it. We are planning when we can book our next chill out break

The cottage is beautiful, in superb looking grounds, surrounded by nature. Got a good photo of a pheasant. Unbelievable that this is available at such a good price. A real secret escape. Shh, don't tell anyone, or they will all want to stay.

Perfect rural retreat!
We were given a warm greeting by Diane when we arrived, and had a cream tea waiting inside, a nice touch. Stream cottage is a great property and is larger than it looks on the photos. The kitchen is well equipped with all the utensils you would need away from home. Don;t worry about bringing to much luggage as there is more than enough wardrobe and cupboard space. The wifi is good enough to stream online content such as netflix etc should you want to. Communication with both Diane and Ian was great, they were always on hand to sort out any problems and respected your privacy. The property is quite rural and accessed down a single track lane, this may be an issue for some but just what we were looking for. Having said that once back up onto a main road all North Devons coast and attractions are within easy distance. Would happily return again!

When we arrived at stream cottage we were taken aback by scenery. Cottage well nice very clean and tidy, very good value for money. Managed by a lovely couple how we're very helpful. When we got home we ranted on to our friends about our stay and will definitely stay there again.
