The Retreat - South Mission Beach

Welcome to The Retreat, a spacious tropical escape tucked away in South Mission Beach, just a short walk from the beach.

Designed for relaxed North Queensland living, this impressive home centres around a private inground swimming pool, with timber decking and generous indoor and outdoor living spaces connecting the different areas of the property. It’s an ideal setup for families, couples travelling together or larger groups wanting plenty of room to spread out while still enjoying a holiday together.

The home accommodates up to 8 guests across four bedrooms, with multiple bathrooms and separate bedroom areas providing extra privacy between guests. The spacious master bedroom includes its own ensuite, while Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a Jack and Jill bathroom. Bedroom 3 features a king bed that can be split into two single beds if required. Please message us prior to your arrival if you would like this bed split.

At the heart of the property is a well-equipped kitchen with gas cooking and a breakfast bar, flowing into the living and alfresco areas. Outside, the pool takes centre stage and creates the perfect place to cool off after a morning at the beach, relax with a drink or enjoy an easy afternoon at home.

With plenty of space, tropical surrounds and the beach only a short walk away, The Retreat is made for laid-back Mission Beach holidays.

Flexible Bedroom Configuration

To make The Retreat suitable for both smaller and larger groups, accommodation pricing varies depending on the number of guests booked. Bedrooms are made available according to your confirmed guest numbers:

1–2 guests: 1 bedroom
3–4 guests: 2 bedrooms
5–6 guests: 3 bedrooms
7–8 guests: 4 bedrooms / whole house

Unused bedrooms will remain closed during your stay. If your group requires additional bedrooms beyond the standard allocation—for example, two guests requiring separate bedrooms—please contact us before booking so we can arrange this. Additional charges may apply.
