"Before my trip I couldn't find out if Pestana Tropico or Oasis Atlantico was the best hotel in Praia, so I booked two nights on both. Now I am not in doubt - Pestana Tropico is the best! Only on location is it a bit inferior to Oasis Atlantico, bujt that is more then compensated for by the very service minded staff and the great restaurant. "Un hôtel incontournable à Praia, peu cher, très propre, situé en pleine rue pietonne, avec commerces et restaurants. La chambre familiale est grande, un lit double, un lit simple et un lit bébé. Pour la réserver, mettre 2 personnes et envoyer un message à l'hôtel pour ajouter une troisième.
Le petit déjeuner est compris et très bon, surtout les beignets à la banane.
Le personnel est top (sauf une personne plutôt fermée).

"Good breakfast and near to a supermarket and restaurants. 5 minutes from a beach. Be careful when i did check in they wanted to pay again the fares and taxes! Took 2 days to resolve the problem. They speak in escudos and we don’t understand cuz we think is the city tax ( 23€) and they wanted me to pay around 300€!! Take whit u all the receives to prove what u did already paid. The rest everything was good. "
"I liked the people in the reception and the other staff for their servicemindedness. They tried to find tours and some were pretty good with english or french. Next time I will use it again and highly recoommend it to my friends. You feel good at this former family owned hostel now upgraded to hotel and I understand why other peple liked it.

"This was my first visit to Cape Verde and I will definitely stay here again on any future visits. The entire property was very neat and clean and reasonably priced. Loved the unique decor. From the front desk to the bartender…Every single member of the staff was super friendly and helpful, even with problems I had trying to move around the country away from the hotel. They definitely went above and beyond. I absolutely recommend!"
"Spent three nights here. A little distance from Plato but short walking distance to the local beach with restaurants. Rented a car for a day and the fental company is just around the corner - very convenient.

"Købt som værelse med balkon og havudsigt. Vi delte opgang med 3 andre værelser, der alle skulle “gennem” vores balkon når de skulle ned til poolen. Havudsigt var der, når man strakte sig på balkonen…
Det hele godt slidt, rengøring tålelig, uden at være prangende.
Dog var det værste, den manglende entusiasme hos personalet, ingen smil, nærmest til ulempe i baren. Bedste beskrivelse er vel triste mennesker 😳. Lidt ærgerligt når man holder ferie.
Endelig var der alt for mange larmende børn på hotellet "
