"Hired a twin room for the night whilst staying with my daughter after a previous bad experience at a different hotel. The room was clean, the TV worked and the pressure in the shower was nice to me. Stopped for a beer in the pub (noise from which was not heard in the room) and the ladies working were polite and helpful. I felt I received good value for money, I would happily return and would be glad to recommend to others"

Food was excellent, very generous portions. Gluten free catered for very well.
Unfortunately the shower in room 33 constantly dripped.
Other than that great 1 night stay after a long day at Twycross Zoo.

"The hotel location was perfect and it is away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.specially Emily with the dark hair. The room was spotless and well maintained. The bed is incredibly comfortable and we slept soundly the whole night. The hotel atmosphere was very quiet The coffee is nice. I will recommend this to my friends."

Hardly no service at the reception. Was received by a grumpy receptionist when I turned up at the hotel pretty late after a long day at work.
The bar and restaurant closed around 9:30 p.m. and it was´t possible to get anything to drink or eat after closing hours.
Breakfast was lacking details and everything was concentrated around died food.
WiFi wasn´t hardly existing at the hotel and I´ve had to leave my room to get a decent...

"As we had a full day on Friday, leaving home 5-am.visiting varios towns en-route,our last visit of the day was Burton--on --Trent ,to have an overdue meal before making our way to The Beeches . We were very pleased to be shown to our room. It was lovely, nice & clean & very comfortable, beds nice also.
Once settled in wanted to relax just for a little while ,& check something on the TV. but unfortunately unable to get it to work !!

"Nice, clean with a nice local pub right across the courtyard. Very handy. However the pub is only open limited hours and no where else to eat within walking distance except a fish n chips joint. We stayed in apartment 3. Suited our family of 4 well, but note there is no mini fridge or micro that a family might hope for. Walls are thin too but not a big deal.
