Forest Chalet is an elegant open-plan mezzanine rainforest retreat at Ecoasis Mamiata, offering 1.5 bedrooms and two bathrooms, ideal for couples while also perfect for two couples or a small family seeking a peaceful nature escape in the Tweed Valley rainforest.

Surrounded by pristine forest and birdsong, this architect-designed Ecoasis chalet is thoughtfully created to enhance your eco-conscious stay, blending comfort with the natural beauty of the 112-acre Ecoasis Mami Wata Wellness Sanctuary.

A short 10 m walk from the car park leads to your private sanctuary. The ground level entry opens to a spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge and balcony. A handcrafted queen day bed (convertible to a second bedroom) and large bathroom with shower provide flexible space for guests, friends or companions.

Downstairs, the queen bedroom includes a private ensuite with traditional claw-foot bath and shower, where you can open the doors and bathe while surrounded by rainforest views.

Large glass doors connect the chalet to the forest while fully screened doors and windows maintain privacy and comfort.

Step onto your private balcony or deck and watch local wildlife pass by — bush turkeys, goannas, kookaburras and black cockatoos soaring overhead.

Forest Chalet offers a calm and restorative space, ideal for romantic escapes, longer stays, writing retreats, creative projects or peaceful sabbaticals.

Pets welcome by approval only (85 aud fee). Ecoasis is a wildlife sanctuary and pets must remain indoors or on lead.
