"Great location. Easy walk to train/bus. Cool medieval/castle property. Nicely furnished. Small but comfortable room. Ensuite bathroom very nice and all immaculately clean. Host/owner is very friendly. I ordered the light breakfast which was excellent in a beautiful dining room. There is also a very pretty back courtyard. I was able to store luggage for the day."

"I loved this hostel, it’s near the castle is stirling and just 1 minute from the church of the holy rude which is very beautiful and offers an extraordinary view of the city, the Wallace monument and mountains. I really recommend this hostel. The team is great and I loved the kitchen ! "

"The highland gate was ok. The reception and the resteraunt was what all the pictures was about. I cozy inn with bar and comfort. But the rooms was in another building, and was, what it seems like, an old nursering home. Even the help buttons and the pull cord was still in the room.

"Really loved the spa and the property. Food was good. Only thing is the lake on the property was full of trash, probably not the hotels fault but if it's their property it is something to be addressed since there was water life living in the habitat. "

"My husband and I totally loved our stay at Broomhall Castle! The staff were absolutely fantastic going above and beyond to make our stay extremely special! The relaxed vibe made us feel at home. Brilliant pub inside and lovely, spacious rooms! Would definitely go back and highly recommend it! You’ll not be disappointed! "

"The room in itself was fine. But the service at the front was extremely poor and the worst we’ve ever experience. Came in late and was met by a very grumpy employee with an attitude behind the desk. Attempted to overcharge us and had no form for empathy or interest in being solution minded. "
