"Great hotel right overlooking the water of Sandy ground beach. The resort is not on the water, there is a small street and steep cliff in front. But the view is amazing.

"We spent 5 days at this beautiful resort. Everything is as pictured. Very luxurious. Valet service is offered if needed, and the guys are pretty amazing, Luke especially. The view from the dining veranda is breathtaking. We ate breakfast there every morning by the pool, everything was fresh and flavorful. We loved Lidienne, McKennly, Niteisha, and the young Gabrielle. "I had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill with my Mrs and two daughters aged 5 and 9. Reading the reviews I was a bit concerned about how secure we would be and the state of the hotel, but it all turned out to be exaggerated and we had a fantastic stay at Bunker Hill.
The family spirit from the front desk to the kitchen and Nephew Thomas assisting was truly amazing. The hotel is very well placed for tourists (in particular Danes wanting to see some historical sites). So can only recommend this...
"Fantatisk hotel med suveræne værelser med fint køkken, fint pool- og barområde, lige ved stranden og tæt på byen.
En stor udfordring er dog at ALT bliver låst af kl. 10 PM og først låst op kl. 8.00 AM og personalet i receptionen beder en om at lægge nøglerne på bordet i værelset, hvis man checker ud før kl. 8.00 AM. Det betyder, at man ikke kan komme ud fra området og skal ned på stranden og langs med denne for at komme ud på vejen, hvor taxaen holder."

"Sonesta was alright as a whole. The good things about this resort is the facilities and the options and selections of restaurants, drinks etc. The bad things about the place is definitely the service. I have rarely experienced such bad service on a holiday. The service (or lack thereof) was mainly an issue in the restaurants, where the staff was rude. I even had a waiter rolling her eyes because I asked for a baby chair. "

"I think when you sell this type of room for 4 people it should have a decent sleep couch - it did not. In fact, it way really unacceptable and for that reason everything else (even if really good and with nice service) it just makes it harder to enjoy when half of the family sleeps poorly."
