"Our family enjoyed our peaceful stay in Slaty Fork during the shoulder season. The home was impeccably clean and appointed. The information packet was jam-packed with useful bits. If we were to come back for skiing or downhill racing, I would stay there–absolutely."

"Our deal when we travel, I do the excursions I want if I find the house my wife wants. This cabin checked all the boxes. Beautiful view, spacious, grand fire place, activities for the kids, hot tub.. The owner thought of everything, and communication was great. We immediately started thinking would would spring be like here and started planning. We will be back."

"The property was absolutely beautiful. There was a bit of error on my part not planning on no reception so I didn’t write down the passcode but that was completely on me. The homeowners were so understanding and wonderful during all this which I am so appreciative for. The suite was clean, stocked with snacks, tea, and hot chocolate which was so sweet. Overall, after being on the slopes all day my partner and I had an amazing relaxing stay."

"Went for a quick family trip at the end of basketball season to try and squeeze in a ski/board trip. Elk River made check in super easy and even made it possible for us to check in early. The cabin had everything we needed for our trip and Ellie Mays restaurant was awesome. For those that like sweet tea, there’s was on another level. The grounds itself had a lot to offer and my daughter and I did some exploring 2 of the days we were there."
