Dirty, not clean and general bad maintenance
We’d been here some years back and then we were very happy about out. Sadly this was not the case this time!
Best thing about the hotel is: nice location, great gym and rooftop and pleasant people working in the breakfast area.
BUT about the rest: The hotel is very dated and tired and you can see that there is a lack of general maintenance. In addition - it is NOT CLEAN - both in our room (superior) and in the common areas.
When we went and told them about the lack of cleaning, they took a note of it but we never got any feedback at all - and we did not experience any improvement.
The were paint crakcing from the ceiling in the bathroom, the glassdoor to the bathroom was cracked, and the AC - when turned on to actually cool the room down - started dripping (we got told this was not news to them - but then someone should fix it insted of doing nothing).
Even when checking out nobody asked us about our stay or followed up on our comments about the cleaning.
When we booked and upgraded our room we did so to stay at a 4 star hotel with the quality one should expect to get - but this was not a 4 star experience.
We will not stay here again and in the city of Sitges there are lots of hotels where you get a lot more value for money.
