"Absolutely wonderful place to stay! This was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. We stayed in the Mayflower Suite, and it was simply glorious—extremely spacious and luxurious. I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels, and this one has climbed straight to the top! The staff? Five-star service all the way. I’m at a loss for words—just wow. Do yourself a favor and experience it for yourself! Oh, and by the way, you get a private entrance leading directly to the penguins… an unforgettable touch!"

"Stort værelse. Fair pris. Tæt på pingvinerne. Fine parkerings muligheder. Restaurant med dejlig aftens og morgenmad. "

"Very nice staff, clean and it had a private washing machine (with washing soap) which was great. No safe but they were planning to install them"

"Der Blick auf die Bucht war einzigartig, das Zimmer großzügig und sauber. Das Interieur ist an der einen oder anderen Stelle etwas in die Jahre gekommen."

"The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The home and property is gorgeous with views of the ocean! "

"Very nice staff! "

"Virkelig dejligt hotel. Utrolig venligt personale, store værelser, den skønneste have og forkælelse af gæster med eftermiddags kaffe, drinks osv. Desuden er Constantia et meget dejligt område. Kommer meget gerne igen"

"The staff were so helpful and the property has amazing views, I really enjoyed the breakfast on the deck overlooking the bay. Thank you so much to all the sweetest staff"

"I have to say the whole place excelled. Our room was lovely and the estate was beautifully kept. Dinner and breakfast were also excellent. The service was the best - attentive and provided with a smile. The cherry on the cake were the wild owls in the tree outside reception. Brilliant. Many thanks we had a lovely time."

"Lækkert boutique hotel godt beliggende i St. James med flot udsigt over Atlanterhavet og False Bay. Tæt ved strand og hyggelig surfersted ved Kalk Bai, Fishhoek og Muizenberg. Hyggelige cafeer og gode restauranter i nærheden. God mulighed for motion på sti / boardwalk langs stranden. En god atmosfære på St. James Manor Guest house, hvor der også var et hyggeligt pool område bagved hotellet. Suiten var stor og velindrettet."

"Handy alternative if in southern suburbs. Mix of long term residents and short term rentals. On site Café had good offering. Safe, good value for money. "

"The place is lovely, and the cottage was very charming, but I felt like the place needed a better clean, especially considering the price. The drying rack in the kitchen had a grime build-up, and the shower floor was quite grubby. I also noticed some hair on the floor under one of the beds, and the vase was hiding an ant family that came out during the night. The sofa could also do with an update, as the seat cushions were really misshapened, and not comfortable to sit on. Otherwise, it's a...

"All was great! Beautiful place, great view, friendly owner and staff!"

"Exceptional place to stay. The warmth you feel interacting with everyone here puts a smile on your face."

"I took a taxi ($29) to the Baraka Guesthouse and upon arrival the gate was closed. I pressed the doorbell button and the person inside said there were no rooms. I told her I had a confirmation from Hotels.com and she acknowledged that she saw that, but regardless I couldn’t enter. I had to find an alternative at additional cost, plus taxi fare. "
