The Space:

Orchard Retreat is a modern designer lodge in the grounds of the owner’s home. The interior is exceptionally comfortable and stylish, with a large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has full height, floor to ceiling windows which give lovely views across the garden. A traditional wood burning stove ensures that this is a cosy year round retreat. Two bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements; the double room has glazed sliding doors to the decked seating area and a bunk room which is ideal for families; with the bottom bunk being a small double and the top bunk a single bed. Outside a wooden deck spans the length of the lodge and overlooks a private garden with table and chairs; ideal for bird watching or simply relaxing. Here, you are within easy reach of the stunning Jurassic Coast in Dorset and just a short drive to the cathedral city of Exeter, making it the perfect base for exploring both beautiful counties.



The Neighborhood:

Sidmouth is a Regency town in south Devon offering architecture, shops, pubs and eateries. Sidmouth is close to beaches, nature reserves, and Exeter. It sits on the southern side of the East Devon AONB, an area showcasing scenery, walking, cycling and views from everywhere. Exeter proves to be a great day out with great architecture and shopping.
