"This hotel was gorgeous and grand. We loved our huge room which had two bathrooms, a living room, several closets, and a huge king sized bed. It was very spacious and we had a very nice view of the courtyard and pool. The scenery was beautiful with lush plants and flowers. There was lots of variety for breakfast and the staff were quick to accommodate to whatever you needed. There were several ATM machines available and transportation was easily accessible. "My friend and I stumbled upon the Afropolitan while searching for relatively stable wi-fi in order to work. It was the best in the area, the beds were ridiculously comfortable and the food in the restaurant was delicious! The best thing about our stay, however, was the attentive and helpful owner. He gave us his personal phone number to direct taxis to the hotel. He even sent two members of his staff to help us when my friend got suddenly ill and had to go to hospital. "I enjoyed my stay in this hotel close to the city center also the welcome and friendliness of the manager and the staff. "Great modern hotel, fairly close to the airport. Lots of ATMs a few feet from the property, also lots of restaurants nearby. The onsite restaurant serves good food. Facilities were good, WiFi had good connection, and the bed was really comfy. The staff, especially those manning the front desk were incredibly helpful. There’s no air conditioning in the rooms though, which wasn’t a problem when i stayed. Though it could be a problem during the summer? Dogs could also be heard barking at night....

"The best part of this hotel is the staff. I was there for almost 3 weeks and the staff is so incredible kind and caring. They are the gem of this place. The hotel itself is pretty standard. They have everything you need including a very lovely spa and 2 restaurants. It gets a bit loud on the weekends because of the live music in the downstairs bar so if you are sensitive to sound, I recommend getting a room on the left side of the building - towards Bole road and away from the parking lot and bar area. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Addis."
