"Very nice onsen hotel. Great with free bus to the town, if you don't want to walk. Good buffet for breakfast and dinner. Good size rooms. Free drinks from 14:00-22:00 including beer and sake. The onsen was also very good. "

"really good facility, close to the water front which i love and in between several areas of interest that you can walk to. The showers and baths were an added bonus as we didnt know that it would include the hot bath, really good to come back to that after a long day. Staff was super friendly and there was a music venue right next door, although we had other things we wanted to do so we weren't able to go. The only issue we had was the pillows are a lot stiffer than what we're used to so it was...

"Rooms are a bit dated but super clean and well maintained. Staff was awesome, and the breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel in Japan. Location is fairly remote, but extremely peaceful, and there are free shuttle busses into Toyooka. Onsen was pretty good and clean. If you are looking for a relaxed time away from the typical tourist bustle, I can highly recommend this hotel. Most guests were elderly and extremely friendly, and it was completely silent at night."

"丹後ウルトラマラソンで二泊させていただきました。男性の宿泊客が多かったのか、女子風呂は2日ともほぼ貸切で、ゆっくりくつろげました。朝風呂も露天風呂貸切で最高！ スタッフの方も丁寧な対応で好感が持てました。食事は最終日の朝ごはんだけいただきましたが、品数も多く大変美味しかったです。周辺の飲食店は沢山はなさそうでしたが、近くにレストランはありました。また丹後に行くときには利用したいと思います。"

"A reasonably priced ryokan in Kinosaki Onsen, which is tattoo tolerant. Very good breakfasts and dinner in traditional ryokan style. Very accommodating staff. Nice additions to their onsen area are sauna and outdoor cold plunge, not often found in Onsen. A bit of a hike from town but convenient free shuttle service. "
