"We had tickets to a downtown venue, so I was looking for a hotel that was walkable to that location. After reviewing proximity and photos of the hotel, we decided the Cambria would be our home for the night. The hotel has an in-house restaurant that we didn't get to try on this visit but there are other walkable choices for drink and dining really close by as well. "This property is just a quick walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel offers free shuttle service which we used. It was quick and convenient and dropped us off in the River Arts District. The rooftop bar was nice and had live music while we were there. We only ate at the property once and the food was fine. All the staff were nice and very attentive. You can definitely tell the flood impacted tourism and everyone we met in Asheville was warm and welcoming."

"The only problem that we had with this trip was that it's right next door to the Econo Lodge and the guy at the desk checking us in was very careful to put us in the quietest room away from the elevators on the top floor and he ended up putting us at the very end of the hall in room 601 which put us right beside the parking lot of the Econo Lodge so we had to hear the people coming in and out of there late hours of the night with their music blaring and they would not just get out of their car...
