Enchanting Lindal Waterfront Cabin

Watercraft, woods and a wonderful cabin. There is a bridge to Harstine Island, its just 100 minutes from Seattle. This home sleeps 10 in a pinch with 4 beds (1 double 3 queen) and a set of bunk beds, full kitchen with basic supplies are ready for you to come and create. Enjoy a soak in the hottub after paddle boarding or canoe.kayaking to the statepark just across the cove. 3 state parks nearby. Sorry no moorage.

We visited as a family of 4. Lots of space and very comfortable. We loved the dock and the water. Got to see deer, jellyfish, seals, crab, and starfish. I didn't realize there was no ac in the home but the weather was cool enough to be completely comfortable and even cold in the evenings with the windows open. There were some near by fires that did get a bit smokey a few nights and the rain did make it a bit humid at times. But, we were very happy with our stay. There was a beautiful welcome basket and the kitchen was well equipped. A little revamp of the living furnishings would be a great addition. Make sure you visit a grocery store before you arrive, the home is very secluded on the island!

Absolutely perfect! Noteworthy location, comfortable beds, excellent view, well-stocked kitchen, and so much fun to be had (kayaks, paddle boards, games, and ping pong). Could not have been any better!

Serenity on the water

With so many waterways in the Seattle area, a renter has a lot to choose from, but we would highly recommend this cabin because it is in one of the few areas with little to no boat traffic. If you were to locate on a map, you’d see that it is in a very tiny enclave that allows you to really enjoy the peacefulness of being on the water. We never had to leave since all the adventure was right in the backyard. Owners were very helpful and easy to reach. We did show up during an unusual heat wave and unsurprisingly this location did not have AC (common for the area) but we opened all the windows and the evening/night air made a big difference. Kayaking/paddle boarding right along side the harbor seals was a highlight of our entire vacation.

Great spot for families

It was great for our 8-person group with two kids. Loved the kayaks and being out on the water. Only negative was the fridge hadn't been cleaned and we had to clean it (like scrub it, not empty it) when we arrived. And we could only get two of the stove ranges to turn on. We didn't contact the owners about either, but they were responsive when we asked for the wifi password. Despite the fact that they had it posted in multiple places and I felt really dumb after I texted them. But a beautiful home and it was perfect for our group.

Relaxing week

Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked, the spa and fire pit made our evenings fun. Harstine Island is just beautiful and the 2 state parks that were within 5 min drive were fun to explore. We took several day trips to other parts of the state and to Mariners game. A perfect week!

Nancy Nest was a wonderful stay. There are so many activities included in the cabin that we didn't need to leave. It was such a relaxing stay with beautiful views.

Relaxing weekend away

This is a great property for a wide variety of guests. It was just the two of us staying for a long weekend (super cozy, and quiet) but it would be great with kids or multiple adult couples. Space to spread out if needed and a daylight basement if the kids need to get some energy out.

Beautiful & homey

We had such a nice stay at Nancy's nest. The home is so pretty, it was warm and inviting. It was a delightful place to be in the summer & I'll bet it's fantastic for the winter time too. There were lots of games to play, a full kitchen and the views were heavenly. My only suggestion is to bring a cushion for the seats around the table, if you're big game players. We would highly recommend the place to friends & family.

Beyond Outstanding

Nancy is an amazing host, amd the home was everything and more than i hoped for. It was perfect for 5 people, the amenities were exactly as listed and the paddleboarding and kayaking exceded all my expectations. My frownds and i will be booking again.

Great Private Getaway for the Family

We had a lovely stay at Nancy's nest. We cooked every night in the fully stocked kitchen, we lounged on the deck and hot tub, and enjoyed the canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. Watching the the tides rise and fall throughout the day and spotting seal heads popping up all day long never got old. Lots of games to play, things were clean and easy to use. We would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful part of the world!

Wonderful Retreat on Harstine Island

We had the most relaxing 4 days at Nancy's Nest on Harstine Island this past July. Our group spanned 3 generation (2 grandparents, 3 in our 40s and 4 children ages 7-11) and everyone had the best time! The ping pong table provided hours of entertainment, there were tons of games and puzzles to use in the 2nd floor living area and there was enough space for everyone to spread out and relax. We loved going out to explore on the kayaks and paddle boards (so much wildlife!) and then soaking in the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and we either cooked and/or grilled every night. Will tell all our friends and family about our stay. Recommend 110%.

Great home on the water

We loved the cabin. The location is perfect if you are ok being away from city amenities although there are several places within 30-60min if you feel the need to get out. The place itself is beautiful. The views of the water and dock access are perfect. Nancy was a great host providing a generously stocked home with games, kitchen supplies, and water activities. We spent some serious time with the kayaks. The layout of the cabin is great with plenty of room for the family to spread out. We have little kids and one 11yo and the basement provided a good balance for our family. We also ended up staying during a mini heatwave and the basement (and many fans) kept us cool during a rare mini heat wave. Just a beautiful area to stay or explore by water. We saw several sea otters, deer, ducks, crabs and jellyfish (careful!). Just a gorgeous area and we feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to get to stay there.

Wedding weekend stay

We loved the house. It had 3 levels that worked well for us. Grandparents in the top floor bedroom, one family on the main floor, one family on the bottom floor. We loved the main floor living room. We all gathered there Saturday night just to catch up with everyone and have family time. Lots of games that the grandkids and adult kids enjoyed. We loved the water view and enjoyed time on the dock. Grandkids were busy playing ping pong and enjoying the craft room. We had a great stay.

The cabin itself is very charming and cozy. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway with friends and has all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable. Nancy’s Nest is a treat. Beautiful home, great location with huge picture window views. Fireplace and outdoor fire table added to the warmth of the home. Fun artwork all over. I loved going on the dock and enjoying the otters, the herons and the peaceful surroundings. You will not be disappointed.

Luxurious Cabin

Our family stayed at the Enchanting Lindal Waterfront Cabin for a wedding reception (at another cabin on Harstine Island.) The cabin is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the stay very much.

Amazing home on Harstine Island

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home. There was lots of space for our family that included small children and older adults. The home could not have been more child friendly and we were able to stay entertained on both the gorgeous weather days and rainy days. Highly recommend!
