One doesn't get to find a lot of Backpackers, hostels and home stays in the Philippines just yet. It's still an unheard of place to stay the night. So, booking in one and experiencing what I experienced when staying in hostels in other countries can be truly refreshing. I just hope the owner gives their exact location when going there on foot, like where to get off...

"My husband and I stayed at Hop Inn overnight and the desk clerk who checked us in was very efficient, informed us that there no toothbrushes and soap that comes with the room (which is not a big deal for us, since we always bring our own anyway) Check-in is at 2:00pm but our room was ready before that . Wifi and cable TV, staff are very courteus and our was very clean."
