Sunset Cottage - West River Access and Views!

Unwind at our cozy riverfront cottage. The home was recently updated for a modern and charming feel, with large expansive floor to ceiling windows optimizing views of the West River. Enjoy waterfront living from the backyard and access to a private pier.

The single story space is comprised of two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and private full bathroom. Guests may also use the open living room loft, accessible via drop-down stairs, which has an additional two twin beds. The master bedroom features a large picture window with stunning water views.
The open concept living area consists of a large and updated kitchen, with bar seating, dining table that sits 6 and a comfortable sectional where you can sip coffee and enjoy a peaceful morning watching our resident blue heron and osprey.

Enjoy the amenities of being on the waterfront! Guests have access to paddleboards, kayaks and a private pier. This location is prime for crabbing – take advantage and utilize the dock’s crab pots during crab season. Take a nap in the hammock. Enjoy sunset dinners on the gravel patio, with access to a grill and large sunshade umbrella. End your night with s’mores at the fire pit.
Plenty of onsite parking.

Guests will have access to the entire property, with the exception of the garage and the loft over the TV.

Note that the community boat ramp and beach area are for residents only. However there is a public boat ramp for guests to use close by.

Situated on the quiet Shady Side peninsula, the cottage is conveniently located just an hour outside of Washington D.C. and just 30 minutes south of Annapolis directly on the West River, a tidal tributary of the Chesapeake Bay.
