"We stayed at the Margaritaville Compass Hotel for a weekend getaway, and overall it was a decent experience, but definitely an expensive one. Between the room, food, drinks, and parking, we spent around $1,000 for the weekend, so my expectations were pretty high. The hotel itself was very clean, and the rooms had beautiful views overlooking the marina, which was probably one of the highlights of the stay. "We LOVE staying at this property, but honestly until the double guest room showers are updated we may not return. I am aware there is a queen ADA room, but we cannot stay together in that room as there is only one bed. My mother fell in the shower as there was no non-skid mat in the room. The showers in the double rooms are WAY TOO SMALL and unsafe. It is a miracle that she was not more seriously injured. We did complete an incident report immediately after it happened Saturday afternoon...
