The view at this cabin was GORGEOUS! My husband and I spent hours on the porch enjoying the beautiful trees. We stayed at the cabin while the leaves were changing for Fall and it was breathtaking.
The cabin inside was a little outdated and could use a new tv, mattress, couch, coffee maker, etc. However, what was there did the job. The tub is AMAZING and legitimately the biggest tub I have ever seen. I brought some bath salt and candles to enjoy a relaxing bath and I was not disappointed. We think the cabin was PERFECT for a couples get away, but is likely too small for any more people than that although there was a sofa sleeper with sheets provided. I liked the size. It had a very romantic and cozy vibe.
The kitchen was fully stocked and we had everything we needed to cook and eat. Salt and pepper was not in the cabin when we arrived, but we bought some and left for future guests.
Check in was a little confusing (it may have just been for us and not always that way) and we booked through VRBO. However, the host, Tim, did get us checked in personally. The location was great and secluded which we loved. It was the last cabin on the street so there wasn’t any traffic on the road. It was about ten minutes to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (we spent time at both during our trip).
The cabin is pet friendly and we brought our Shi Tzu and Malti Poo fur babies with us (we don’t travel without them). The cabin was clean and did not have a pet odor as some pet friendly locations do. The rug did have some dog hair on it upon arrival, but that wasn’t an issue for us.
Overall great experience and host. We would be happy to stay in this cozy cabin again.
