Great spot for exploring the Smokeys

We loved our stay in this sweet, well-maintained house. It was the perfect size for our family of five. The hot tub, propane fire table, and family friendly games were nice touches. The host was very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked; we cooked there every night of our stay. We have stayed in the Shagbark development before and think it is just the right balance of quiet/remote in feel but close enough to the action to visit Dollywood, GSMNP, etc. Our kids really liked playing at community area within Shagbark- there is a small swing set, some yard games and a creek.

Great Family Getaway

We had a great time at this cabin. It was so nice and convenient for each bedroom to have its own bathroom. The massage chair was a huge hit! Everything was clean and well decorated. Everything we needed was at the cabin. It was nice and cozy and very relaxing. The owner was very quick to respond when we had any questions. We would definitely rent again!!

Beautiful mountain home

We enjoyed our few days in the mountains staying in this beautiful home! It was a perfect fit for our family of 5 with our 3 teenagers! The massage chair was a huge bonus! We loved ending our day with a massage! The location was perfect as we went to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Caves Cove! The drive up the mountain the first night was a little scary with winding, narrow and steep roads but we quickly got used to the drive. The house was very clean and we enjoyed having breakfast out on the screened in porch! Great first trip to the mountains!

Wonderful retreat

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this quiet cabin. It's beautiful with a great view and very quiet. We enjoyed a relaxing trip and already want to return.

Spring break 2023

Wonderful property. Close enough to everything. CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. My husband, 2 boys and i had a lovely time. It was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub and massage chair were great after long days hiking. Amanda was great to work with. So helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had.

What a wonderful weekend!

This house is so well decorated and the kitchen is well-appointed! We loved it! The bed linens were hotel-quality, too! They have a massage chair that we all spent plenty of time in. We all wanted to get to it first! The “Therapy” selection was our favorite! The screened-in porch was so cozy and convenient to the kitchen! We hung out there for hours! The kitchen is a bit small but we made it work! I cannot say enough nice things about the owner, Amanda! In all my years of renting cabins, I’ve never met a more accommodating owner to work with. She was always quick to reply with any questions I had! The pilot light in the fireplace had gone out and she responded by having someone out early the next day to fix it! You won’t find an owner more kind & flexible! I would highly recommend renting this wonderful home!

Clean and Beautiful

This property is 100% as seen in the photos. It's relaxing and has a wonderful view. It's worth noting that you're about 20 minutes from the strip in Pigeon Forge if it's busy. I consider that a pro, some may consider it a con. The owners are fantastic and extremely quick at responding to questions. The whole process was wonderful. Note to clean freaks: I traveled with my wife, mother in law and grandmother in law. All three are clinically OCD clean freaks. They were amazed at the cleanliness of the property. I would recommend and stay here again.

Had a million questions for the host on Day 1 and she was super helpful and accessible - some of the best communication we've had when renting. Comfortable home in a secluded and quiet community was exactly what we needed after days out exploring locally. Had a great visit - thanks for everything!

Happy Campers!

We LOVED staying in this beautiful, cozy and updated home! The location was only about 10 min from downtown Pigeon Forge and 40 min from Gatlinburg. Perfect place to be slightly secluded, yet close enough to stores and tourism attractions. The owners of the home were welcoming, accommodating and very easy to work with! Between the massage chair, the hot tub and those comfy beds, we were relaxed and comfortable all weekend long! Five stars from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Awesome Experience

The house was as advertised and check in was smooth and easy. Amanda the owner was fantastic, any questions I had she responded promptly. One of the best experiences I have had. I would recommend this property to anyone, very quite but close to everything.

Family Vacation

Great property just a short trip from the hustle and bustle of the Pigeon Forge Parkway. We enjoyed winding down in the evenings after busy days of family fun out in town. Glad to have quality beds versus some properties that skimp on this. The screened in porch is great for morning coffee with the fam. Would definitely visit again.

Beautiful location/ steep road to house

Great location. House is 20-30 mins from everything. Road was very steep up to house. When we arrived to the house at 430pm we were very upset to be greeted by the cleaning ladies. Her dog was running and jumping all over the couch. After walking through the house I noticed quite a few damages. Blind was broken on master bedroom door, outdoor screen was ripped, cigarette hole in hot tub cover. I wish there was communication before arriving that the cleaners were not complete and also aware of the damages before hand so I wasn't paranoid of being charged. You sign an extensive contract regarding fees for animals and damages. Also the house wasn't 100% clean. The counters were sticky, dirt was on floor, hair in shower and the pull out couch had food, crumbs and trash in it. Besides our experience at check in. This house is absolutely gorgeous and location is even better. It's so quite and private. It was perfect for our family of 7. The house has everything you need. I would be very cautious when roasting the complementary s'more kit. We were approached quietly by two bears. Overall the owner Amanda was absolutely amazing, she heard and understood our concerns. They checked in with us during our stay to make sure our needs were met. Would definitely come back.

Loved The Stay

We had a wonderful stay and felt like we were driving home each day. The massage chair such a nice touch! The hot tub jacuzzi was enjoyed by my 18 yo son. The colored lights of it at dark was pretty. I used the sleep sound machine at night. It was relaxing and a special touch. The cleanliness was excellent. Not even a cobweb in a high corner. Location is perfect. Just minutes from pigeon forge but you feel like you are miles away. Thank you for making our experience lovely.

The most cozy cabin in Pigeon Forge

This cabin is amazing!!! We spent Christmas here as a family and could not be happier with the experience. The host is wonderful and very helpful!!! From the moment we stepped into the house, we felt at home!! 🤗🤗 Everything was so neat and nicely decorated!!! All you could possibly need is provided for your convenience, except food (which is a short drive away). My family and I enjoyed the house so much, that we are thinking about coming back soon. 😀 Thank you Amanda!!! 😊

Perfect vacation home

The location couldn’t have been better. We enjoyed the quiet and secluded location of the welcoming home. It was comfortable and felt like a home rather than a rental which we loved. Amanda was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with. A short drive to Pigeon Forge for a grocery store, endless entertainment and restaurants. Although, we mostly ate at the house by using the grill on the deck with rocking chairs. We also loved the screened porch for coffee, reading and view of the autumn colors. The house came with everything we needed and even Roku for watching tv. The roads leading to the house in the neighborhood are twisty, but once you do it a couple of times it is no trouble. We enjoyed most of our time in the park. I choose this location to be closer to Cades Cove, but not to far from Gatlinburg and the park, so I could be there at first light for photography. Stop at the Peaceful Side Social Brewery for delicious pizza and brews in Townsend Everything worked out perfectly!

Secluded Solitude

The location was not always convenient to run into town to eat, especially after dark! The house was perfect for the 4 of us, and the setting was beautifully nestled in the trees. My husband was not happy with no live TV to watch Aggie football game. We did have Netflix to watch. House was very nicely decorated, large deck with rocking chairs and every bedroom had its own private bathroom as well as a half bath downstairs too! We loved the screened side porch for evening pre dinner drinks and appetizers! About a 20 minute drive to Sevierville or Pigeon Forge.

Perfect hidden gem!

I didn't want to write a review so the secret wouldn't be out... We have decided a real last-minute vacation and found this property. As soon as we arrived and opened the door, it was love at first sight: the cabin was perfectly cleaned and with everything we needed. The property is at a beautiful secluded spot, with nature all around, so you can enjoy some peace and quiet, which was what we were looking for. We did take advantage of the screened area, the hot tub and the grill! In fact, we made almost all our meals at the cabin! We did venture out a little, as the city and the National Park are not far from there, but were always eager to return to the cabin and relax. The communication with the hosts couldn't be better, since the first contact they always returned our messages quickly and were a pleasure to deal with. We would (will) definitely return

Amazing Host

While we were looking for a last minute trip we came across this property and booked it on the spot. The communication between our host and us was great any questions we had she responded almost immediately. We asked if she had a fire pit she mentioned that previous tenets damage it but she was going to do her best to get us one and to our surprise she did it. It was a great surprise. My family and I would like to thank our host she maid our stay very pleasant.
